  3. AGENT001 @ Return 2 Burn! Friday 18th 2003. Shelter.

(Eli Wilkie of) AGENT001 special guest @ Return To Burn, SHELTER. Friday July 18th 2003.

Hello. We have a very special Last minute Guest dj showing up at SHELTER for Return To Burn! Eli Wilkie of AGENT001.

    Eli "pimpington" Wilkie

This Up and coming DJ and producer hailing from Boston Massachusetts, has been spinning for the past five years in and around the New England area, shaking up dance floors with his rock, reggae and funk influenced selection of house and techno music. His versatility as a DJ landed Eli and long time friend Fernando Bairos a residency at Boston's underground Hibernia nightclub, in which he DJ弾d alongside the likes of Steve Porter, Luis Diaz, Paul Rogers, and Podje (Ireland). This residency paved the way for gigs in Boston and beyond, as well as for his career as a producer.

For almost two years now, Eli has been actively involved in production, creating a wide range of house and techno music working alongside his close friend Steve Porter. Together Eli Wilkie and Steve Porter created the alias 'Agent001'. The upbeat, bouncy and playful tracks under this alias have a unique sound, which was created through fusing the duos influences in music, and their ability to experiment with new ideas and themes. Tracks like 'When Pigs Fly', 'Bubblebath' and 'Daniel Wiggy' have had strong worldwide support by DJs such as Pete Tong, Sander Kleinenberg, Jimmy Van M, Lee Burridge and James Zabiela.

Eli has just recently landed a new monthly residency with Steve Porter at Boston's AXIS Nightclub Square One night, shared by John Debo, Ali Ajami, Dave Ralph, Chris Fortier and Deklab. Montreal has also become a frequent stop for Eli this year, playing sets at StereoBar, and a handful of afterparties. On the production side Eli is currently working on solo projects, including a remix for R&B singer PLURAL from Boston. Also working on collaborative work with friends Chris Reavey, Island 9, and new Agent001 tracks, Eli plans to have a number of tracks finished in 2003.

That no one even knew (or cared) that Jonathan Peters had a party or was even at the WMC. (but then again, I'm sure he had his guido,*** OOPS i mean followers. Because where theres CHEESE theres mice.)
