  1. i disagree first off i dont think louie devito makes any tracks he just dj's tiesto is one of the pioneers of trance music devito is one of the downfalls of house music tiesto was one of very few djs that can blend the right amount of trance,tech-trance and techno into their sets and make it work i agree like around 2003 to end of 2005 he was too predictable and very popular but these days hes playin alot underground and more diverse like he used to be devito is garbage i dont know how you can put them 2 in the same sentence
  2. yea i agree carl was kinda weak last night imo i mean he was just playing tech house and he was non consistant like one track would be good then the next track would be a lil slower and not as banging i dunno it was my first time seeing him and i thought he was gonna be alot better and the crowd on the main floor was awfull about a third of it was asians doing the dumb swing dance and another third was just clueless people standing around doing nothing the rest of the crowd was into the music which was good but the moment of the night had to be when carl and dt were tag teaming amazing tech house they were goin off dt got on the mic and said next time they are gonna tag team for longer so that should be interesting over all it was a good night but nothing mind blowing
  3. i dont think u can sneak a whole bottle in there lol iam mixing my drinks at home then puttin them in a water bottle and just put it in my back pocket cause they dont search from wat i rememeber they do have been and wine at the venue tho but the lines suck so unless you get there early you wont have a prob
  4. i havent been to pacha/factory since like 2003 so i made it out club looks a lil more upscale to put the word but anyway lets get to the party i got in around 1 and he was playin nothing that old he played safe from harm wat was that 2002 maybe? come on then around 3ish he started to bang out some more classic tracks flight 643 he worked the shit out of react- lets go all the way (johnny vicious dub) like a prayer coco lee- where ever you go and a few more but i dunno besides lets go all the way nothing was that old he was playin i guess i was expecting more tracks from like 98 to 2000 i guess i dunno i was kind of upset then reina came on and sang all her songs which was ok then after that he was just playin songs like just tribal stuff nothing classic i dunno i left at 7:30 i couldent take it anymore everywhere i looked i saw someone doin a bump and i almost got into like 3 fights with meatheads cause i steped on their foot by accident and i said iam sorry and they wanted to still act all tuff guys fuk that shit and yea if i wassent there for classics i would have rather been in the basement clevland was ripping it up down there
  5. source? if this is true this is out of this world
  6. i remember back in nye 2002 oakenfold spun here in nyc at 2 places exit and capitale and the ny post reported he got like 100 grand for the night i dunno how true it is but he usually spins like 2 hour sets at each venue so he was pretty much robbing the clubs if that was true
  7. paul will be back at roseland thanksgiving eve for those who cant make it to central park
  8. i dont think he will go that late cause i heard hes spinning at a private party on some rooftop in bk or queens during the day / early night we will have to see
  9. its not really help more of an honest answer to what kind of house you would call tracks that were around during the 97 to 2000 era of nyc clubs iam talkin about like magic dog- mirror mirror (eddie baez mix) kim english- unspeakable joy( razor and guido mix) jonathan peters- hooked on a feeling plasmic honey - it began in africa etc etc.... you all know the kinds of tracks iam talkin about iam just curious to which kind of house it would be under? and iam lookin for a serious kind of answer iam not lookin for " gweedo fist pumpin house" lol like some of the board members label it as thanks alot
  10. iam not really a fan of morillo but isent he like the partial owner of the club? he only spun like 4 or 5 times since the club has been opened and now hes leaving for the whole summer? so stupid no wonder the club isent doin as great shit only packs out when him or jp are in there i mean the past few reviews i heard about the parties within the last month is that the club has been doing better but for morillo to basically jump ship on his own club like that for a good 2 to 3 months is stupid
  11. defff gonna check this out his last few shows have been killer he is one of the best producers in trance hands down now with him djing he is defff gonna be someone to look out for in the years to come
