from what i remember of my partying days in miami, the style of music played at the bigger clubs is a little different too. Resident DJ's such as Roland, Ivano Bellini, Cedric Gervais, and Oscar G played a slightly more latin influenced style house, with more laid back (but still sick) tribal beats. You don't really hear the harder JP/Boris type beats there. The crowd is much more European too, not really that many juiceheads either, but equal amounts of silicone i absolutely love both scenes, but i give nyc the edge just because its nyc.

morillo's calendar shows he is booked almost every weekend in October though...

Neptunes was sick Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!! Morillo @ Cpi was great, he played the same set the next day @ Neptunes though, but who cares. Heard Boris at a house party saturday night, that was interesting. Overall, it was a great weekend in the Hamptons!! Neptunes vs. Surf Club -Neptunes takes this round at least for this past weekend.

my experience with Ultra last year SUCKED. it was wayyy to "ravey" of a scene for me. tons of little kids running around with glowsticks and neon clothing. the tents that are actually playing good music are so crowded, hot, and distgusting. i am not a fan of outdoor events personally, but to each his own. ill stick to the pool parties for my outdoor events this year!

where can i find a masterlist of all the daytime and nighttime parties for the WMC? last year i got emails weekly of all the parties and it was pretty helpful.

savoy is walking distance to Nikki's which is grrreeeattt!! its a short cab ride to Crobar, and a few other spots. the location is great 4 me!

the Riande is nice! i stayed there on a regular weekend last year and was pleased with the place. nice sized rooms, and a nice hotel in general

SPACE, crobar, nikki beach, nerve, mansion, tantra, NV, Pure...im sure im forgetting a bunch of places. everywhere you go it'll be jammin. The Savoy is going to be a blast!

hey sweety--the rooms at the Shelborne are NASTYYY from what i hear. we booked our rooms at the Savoy--the suites are unreal!! go on expedia.com and look up The Savoy Hotel and take their virtual tour of their suites--they are amazing. but then again, the pool parties at the shelborne are redic--it depends on what your looking for.
