  1. Like someone else said.... I can't believe I'm still registered here! lol I remember when we all used to be on these boards all the time prior to going to NYC. Now most of you are probably married w/kids but not me! Too old for the clubs but now I just moved the places where I party :-O

Who remembers the infamous underwear parties w/JP? ha ha ha!

  2. how much D???

Whaddup Mikey! Already gave a bunch of cd's and 2 crates to a guy that called me up. If u want, I'll just save the rest for you. I'm sure you'll come across some good stuff that u might have lost, forgotten to buy, etc. Give me till Monday and I'll have it all ready for u.

...and in case u mean how much $, like I said...free. Better than throwing it in the trash.

  3. About to move, trying to get rid of junk, and not really djaying a whole lot anymore. Got some crates of vinyl and a box of over 300 cd's. Some cd's have a couple of problems with a few of the tracks however, there's still a lot of good music on them. Rather than throwing it all away, I'd rather give it to someone who could make some use of them. If you want it all just contact me. If you can get to the Ironbound, Newark area Thurs. or Friday (I'll have everything ready by then), they're yours.

  4. I noticed (and kinda missed... being the alcoholic that I am ) that no drinks were being served during the Brasilian Festival this past Sunday in NYC. Was there a new law that passed or were the organizers afraid of the Brasilians getting outta control? Definitely wasn't the same energy as last year (never mind the fact there was no DJ or music of any kind between the performers). Just curious....

  5. Forgive me if I missed a thread about this already, I searched and didn't find one. Just that my phone and emails have been blowing up as people have been contacting me about Denny passing away yesterday/this morning. I almost fell to the ground when I first heard this morning. He was one of the old school Breathless gang back in the day when it was crazy!

Though I wasn't as close as I used to be with him, he was still one of my "boys". Great DJ, great to hang out with and always willing to help out one of us in the biz. It's a shame too. Seems that after all those years in go-go, he was finally starting to make a name for himself.

R.I.P. Denny. Hope you're tearing it up in DJ Heaven.

    Peace bro... DO

  6. he has that draw to pack rooms with the high end and models and bottles crap, to each his own, he def pays his way

and I have seen him once or twice, the boy has skills , noone can deny that, to toss together the mixes he does, you have to have a great ear for the music, rap, rock, 80's isnt your standard run of the mill mixes

Heard him at Deko once & have to agree. You can't deny... he does have skills & def attracts that "high end" crowd.

  7. Went this past Saturday w/some friends from school. Haven't been in that area for about 2 years. Hit the Reed club (think that's the name) 1st. Okay time but just too much hip hop for a crowd like that... but a nice place, Then walked the boardwalk to the area u people are talking about. Friendly people, decent jams... overall a nice, different experience (especially when you have the beach right there).

  8. Do you have any time slots on when someone is needed please. Otherwise I will email you.

Just got off the phone with Paul. He'll be there after 7pm today thru Sunday. Stop in any day and ask for him. You'll probably have to do a short audition but he has lots of shifts available (guess they're cleaning house).

The only real problem you'll encounter is that there is no monitor in the DJ booth. However, you can hear well enough to mix decently. Have fun!
