WMC was great.. I only went down there for 1 party - Steve Porter on saturday night - and it was a ton o' fun... danced for hours.... place was packed... just a great time... plus steve is wicked cool and fun to hang with... and eli played a great set after.... fun times for sure

Amen!!! Sometimes change can be for the good or even for the bad. Let's not forget the new "Coke" back in the 80's. How many heads must have rolled with that huge blunder?
A mod should be fair and some what unbias. I was on CP a few years back and the mod for Miami was such a *%^$$ that it drove me away. Hopefully that is a learning lesson for the Track family.

okay okay.. i understand at some point you make decisions on your own, so i can't blame the spears mom for the 16 yr old getting knocked up.. i mean everyone makes mistakes and i guess she missed out on the "condoms" talk in school...
but that woman used those two girls to get fame and live off it.. acting like a friend rather than a mom.. she sucks at life.

Every website on this planet goes through transitions. Every website fires moderators every single day of the week.. In fact, over on my site, I just fired 3 of them because the mods were getting a litle too comfortable and were thinking their shit did not stink. We all know everybody loves POD, but let's face it.. something he did triggered this site to let him go. I dont know the details and I dont really give a fuck.. however, stop being so god damn closed minded about everything. Give the guy a fucking chance dude.
AND YES, DAVE HAS ADMITTED TO BEING OUT OF TOUCH WITH MIAMI.
The problem with people who dont have a fucking clue about running websites... If Dave were to ask a member if he/she was interested in being a moderator, then the person asked would think of $$$ - Sorry, moderators of websites dont get paid to moderate... It is for volunteers.. He is simply asking for volunteers.
So everybody.. take your fucking heads out of your ass and give them a little time to make adjustments... You people do realize that it is the Holiday and people dont have time to make a miracle over night.. people are trying to finish up last minute shopping, plans, etc.
The majority of the people on here have acting like 5 year old fucking babies... grow up people.

First off, what sarcastic comment was that? I was being completely truthful -- think what you want, but without having any of the details, it's really hard to make an informed decision. (Not that I see that as being one of your strong points.)
My post said give us time. I don't have all the answers. I was not "brought in by Track." I founded Clubplanet and have been here since the beginning. I've met a lot of the people in Miami at WMC's and other times I have been down there whether they were on CP or Cooljunkie. Lainie is helping Track with a number of things and I've known her for years, but that does not make us partners on anything. I called for her opinion and thoughts.
As for being an asshole, re-read the posts and I think it would be hard to say that about me. Anyone who knows me would say that is the farthest from the truth as well. I've answered to the best of my ability. I also know that being in New York, distances me from the Miami scene and we will need someone down there to help us out (or several people). I've been saying that is exactly what we're working towards.
I've had the pleasure of meeting DaVe way back in the old CP days (2001 at the Jail Party at the Bentley Suites.. remember? LOL) and I've run into him throughout the years at various WMC events.. (remember taking the plane to NYC straight from Space.. LOL) He's a great guy and i think the attacks are a little early considering all the "changes" around here happened just last week! Give it some time.. MOST of you know enough people in the biz to get the story anyway..... give him a chance to get into the swing of things.
All though DaVe, I'm still somewhat pissed about Montbh being a mod on CP and ruining the Bump& forum!!!! BUT its nothin' a few cocktails can't fix during wmc.. see ya in march!

I must say these last few posts make me want to puke. " I don't do 18 +" and " I feel too old to go to this" . Unbelievable! Proof that is dosen't matter about the talent or quality of the event. Only the "ego" of the individual going. So I'm assuming any event that comes to the American Airlines, Jackie Gleason or Office Depot Center such as Van Halen or Justin Timberlake or any other national act. You all are too cool to attend those as well. GET OVER YOURSELVES!! Go out and have a good time!!!
i have huge ego and am way to cool for 18+ night... my fav place to hang on weekends with a kick-ass band is chuck-e-cheese.. you should check it out!

Again, NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. I asked for elaboration about who started the rumor and how it affected things and he just insulted me. I mean, a rumor is only a rumor if people actually hear it. I am not trying to be mean or insulting, I just want to know what the hell he is talking about.
