    Hi there Guys, been a while.. would be nice if you come down and meet you all

    What would be the Miami Winter Music Conference without a very messy Closing Party? And who better to host it than your favourite online dance music magazine? Get ready as RA returns to South Beach for the closing party of all WMC closing parties, Resident Advisor presents Hernan Cattaneo.

    We admit it takes a certain twisted individual to go the full WMC distance but join us and the countless other WMC casualties when we take over the extravagant Shine Nightclub and its Steve Dash (of Cocoon, Twilo and Home London fame) sound system, within the infamous Shelbourne Hotel Resort , on Tuesday March 28 for the ultimate WMC Closing Party.

    For this year's party, we have invited back good friend, RA columnist, Argentinean superstar DJ, Hernan Cattaneo, who will be throwing down the house grooves in the same manner which has made him South America's biggest DJ, earned him two Renaissance Master Series and a new forthcoming compilation series of his own, entitled Sequential. Throughout the night, Hernan will be joined by a series of special guest DJs, both friends of RA and Hernan, whom he will perform back-to-back with, creating an unpredictable night of music and mayhem, and the perfect ending to another week of Miami Winter Music Conference shenanigans.

    Taking residence in the Shine lounge will be our favourite New York crew - Robots. Having built a strong reputation for musical non-conformity off the back of their New York events and East Village Radio show, Bill Patrick, Nick AC & Dennis Rodgers will bring the infamous dirty, deranged and electronic Robots vibe to finish the conference week off in true closing party style.

    After nearly half a decade of breaking the most important electronic music stories this is our yearly Miami knees up so join us at Shine and the WMC for Resident Advisor presents Hernan Cattaneo.

  22. Resident Advisor at Spin with Hernan and Infusion

    Resident Advisor (RA) is pleased to announce its decision to host a very special party during this year’s Miami Winter Music Conference.

    RA has secured the services of talented live act Infusion, who will join forces with prolific South American DJ Hernan Cattaneo to provide an evening of the finest electronic sounds. Hernan will play an extended set on the night, his new Renaissance Masters CD, top 10 ranking in the 2004 DJ Mag Polls, and continuous onslaught of impressive gigs and tours made him the perfect choice for RA to celebrate over 3 years in the international industry. Ensuring the quality starts as soon as the doors open, Bill Patrick will be on the turntables, providing his unique style.

    The event is being held on Tuesday, 22 March (opening night of the conference) at one of Miami’s prime venues, Club Spin. Spin, owned and run by the Space group (responsible for Club Space in Miami) is a large one-room venue with a state-of-the-art sound system located in the heart of South Beach.
