what night you coming ? i think tru is the only place in AC that does an 18+ night on fridays, not even sure if they're still doing it. otherwise, come check out Worship in the Showboat, or Casbah in the Taj Mahal.

Well i had the chance to seize a residency and took it. Atlantic City's newest nightclub, Worship, is now my home for 2 nights, wednesday's 9-11 for a special liquor promotion, currently 10 Cane Rum; friday's, 10:30 - 5am, stop on by for drink specials, bottle service, and VIP treatment! check out the pics! here's a few of the 3rd floor, slated for VIP but open to the public currently... shot of the 2nd floor, couches, tables, and a private bar: shot of the dancefloor: This club is gonna be good, and right now it's open for business, and here for the taking! Ketch in LBI has teen nights, not sure if they do more than one night, but i know Tuesday is definitely one of them. could be sunday too.

casbah's not open sunday, just friday/saturday. velvetrope and i went over to nikki tonight (sunday) around 9:30, wasn't anything going on. then we headed over to Worship in the house of blues in showboat and hung out there for a little bit. no cover there either since it's relatively new. awesome place, it'll just take time for people to find out about it and get some heads in there.

xanadu is open for the rest of the summer, meanwhile the actual casbah room may not be. there are some architectural renovations planned for the casbah, not sure when they're scheduled to start. maybe after the lounge is completed on the casino floor just inside from the casbah. guess they're going 1 project at a time. -t

aren't all casino's intended for old people ? yet almost all the casino's have turned their efforts towards getting all people our age 20-30's in there. well, with the exception of sands and claridge anyway....and hilton i guess. they don't do much by way of entertainment. but all the rest do. anyway, back to the first post in this thread, where the hell do you see a "million dollar" light system ? 20 grand maybe, not a friggin million dollars. and the place is nice (anything brand new is nice), i'll be back since i have a waitress friend up in vip, and made friends with the vip host.

farruggio is from the jackson area. he has a residency on thursday nights at the stone pony. i just got him in here at the casbah....so we'll have to see where it leads, which i can only guess is up you may know farruggio from his vinyl mixes on the market right now, and his old school mixes that are legendary, like Crazy Train. i think the KTu mixshow used 3 of his latest tracks last weekend, and he's also played on sirius radio. should be a good addition to our lineup. -t

gonna have to hit Long Beach Island for anything 18+, one good place is the Ketch. look it up on the yellow pages for a map to it. and yea, Ocean City is dry, no liquor sales, no bars, no clubs. but there IS mack and manco's pizza..... best in southern new jersey

wild is correct. best option for a friday, go there before midnight and get stamped, so if you come back after midnight, you're already stamped so you don't have to pay the 10 cover. saturday is 20 for guys from open till close.

depends on how the dj's feel the crowd is going. honestly, noone wants a hiphop crowd, so they keep the hip-hop sets shorter than the house sets. but they switch it back and forth, for instance, during a 4 hour set, there might be two 30/45 minute hip hop sets, and two hour/hour-and-a-half house sets. it's never the same crowd, so you just never know till you see what gets there. the same is true for the star bar outside, no more 100% hiphop. more of a 50/50 mix out there now. -t

wild, friday's are free until midnight for guys, then $10 after midnight. ladies are always free. saturday there's not gonna be a chance to get anyone in, unless you know a host. -t

i couldn't be more pissed off after this weekend. i take great pictures all night, then when i need my picture taken, the shit's effin blurry: i guess night shots are harder to take in general. oh well.

downstairs isn't open yet for the summer, which is where the beds are. should open up for the summer on july 4th weekend. usually, for a table, you have to buy 2 bottles. meanwhile, there are still tables upstairs. call 609-449-1000 and ask for tom d'archangelo. he's in charge of tables, and pretty much the whole casbah. so leave a message with him that you want a table and he'll get back to you and let you know what's available. -tony
