  7. I'm sure you guys wouldn't base your vote on one issue however, you're average non-politically minded american might base their vote on one thing. Unfortunetly for the majority of americans that's what it usually boils down to. One issue. Whether it's raising taxes on Americans, vietnam service, getting a blow job in the white house, capturing/killing bin Ladin.
  8. Of course, this is assuming that you are not a Bush supporter, but would you choose to vote for Bush if bin Ladin were captured just before the election? Just curious...

  11. Official denies nuclear arms found in Iraq Baghdad, Iraq, Jul. 21 (UPI) -- A U.S. military official Wednesday denied a report of Iraqi missiles carrying nuclear warheads being found in a concrete trench northwest of Baghdad. The daily al-Sabah newspaper Wednesday had quoted sources as saying three missiles armed with nuclear warheads were discovered in a trench near the city of Tikrit, the hometown of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. A U.S. military spokesman in Tikrit told United Press International that the report was untrue. "Nothing's been found. The report is not factual," said Master Sgt. Robert Cowens, a spokesman for the 1st Infantry Division, based in Tikrit. Link to article http://washingtontimes.com/upi-breaking/20040721-081009-2541r.htm

  13. Pentagon: Bush military records destroyed Saturday, July 10, 2004 · Last updated 8:38 a.m. PT THE ASSOCIATED PRESS WASHINGTON -- Military payroll records that could more fully document President Bush's whereabouts during his service in the Texas Air National Guard were inadvertently destroyed, according to the Pentagon. In a letter responding to a freedom of information request by The Associated Press, the Defense Department said that microfilm containing the pertinent National Guard payroll records was damaged and could not be salvaged. The damaged material included payroll records for the first quarter of 1969 and the third quarter of 1972. "President Bush's payroll records for those two quarters were among the records destroyed," wrote C.Y. Talbott, of the Pentagon's Freedom of Information and Security Review section. "Searches for back-up paper copies of the missing records were unsuccessful." Full article http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/apwashington_story.asp?category=1151&slug=Bush%20Military%20Service
