We’re still looking for ladies who want to take part in Miss of Wet T- shirt Contest at club POLUSA, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 22nd. First prize winner receives $2000! The second prize is $1000 and the third prize is $500. Every participant recives at least $100. So ladies... have fun and show your beauty! Just call (908) 245 - 3020 and sign up!

Wet t-shirt contest is illegal in nj according to the abc. Just ask the club in Roselle that got busted july 11th. Posting a $2000 prize and posting on this board is stupidity. Half of the abc investigations come from postings on this board. If you do a wet-t contest, use in house flyers and word of mouth don't post it. Why do you think you never hear a wet t-shirt contest advertised on the radio?? think about it.

  2. The GLASS sound system, designed and built by Top Sound Audio especially for GLASS, will consist of a 4 way custom fabricated speaker system loaded with McCauley and JBL speaker. It will be driven by 30000 watts of power from legendary Crown Macro-Tech amplifiers.

Complimenting that sound system will be dozens of speakers placed throughout the bar and lounge areas AND a dedicated sound system for live bands.

The dj booth will be loaded with Technics 1200 turntables, Pioneer CDJ 1000 CD players and a Rane 2016 rotary mixer with an expansion unit. It will have room for DJs to put their vinyl, CD's or laptops and an easy way to patch into the system to play, record and add effects.

Along with a completely intelligent state of the art light show, the club will look and sound great. And since every dancefloor needs a disco ball we might as well have one of the biggest one around. Looking forward to firing it up!

Top Sound Audio?? never heard of them....Can you name a reputable club they did a sound install in? Or any club for that matter....

"4 way custom fabricated system"??? Most home theatre systems are 4 way.... and custom fabricated means they built the pods and enclosures from scratch with fiberglass and wood..I highly doubt that, they are using off the shelf enclosures.

30000 watts from macrotech..a 20 year old technology amp...would require (10) 3600 macrotech's...which i highly doubt they have....if you are gonna brag about amps at least get crown I-tech's which blow away macrotechs in s/n ratio and rms.

Rane 2016 mixer... yeah great mixer....great to brag about if you had it when it first came out...but the damn thing is 7 years old....once again acting like you invented the wheel.

"dozens of speakers throughout the bar"........thats 24 at minimum...again I highly doubt it.

"pioneer cdj-1000"....(yawn) dvj-x1 is worth bragging about though, oh wait you probably dont have video............

"biggest disco ball around"...Probably the one in the PSSL catalog..the 48incher....on sale this week for $199.99.

Now that we know all the technical details....how's the crowd?? how's the vibe? Any girls??? or a bunch of technology geeks counting watts on their abacus???

"well, there were no hot chicks, but they did have McCauley speakers"

and i did stay in a holiday inn last nite!

    hahah U NOOB

1200's, pioneer cdjs, rane and crown are pretty much the standard for any club and even wedding djs have intelligent lighting. You act like they invented the wheel.

  4. Do you remember how hot the parties were back in the day?

How about classic hot spots such as Xenon, The fun House, Redzone, Paradise Garage, The World, The Building, Sound factory bar, Elegante, etc.

Well its time to bring that old skool party vibe back.

    No more guest-lists!

    No more expensive covers!

    No more pretentious attitudes!

Just diverse, beautiful, party-people having an all out good time!!!

  5. i have an older record player that has rca cable outputs, no ground wire. i hooked it up to a new reciever that does not have phono inputs. i plugged the rca cables to the aux input, but have no sound. i hear the record from the needle, but no sound from the reciever. any help?????

strip the rca's and plug them into the 110 wall outlets in your house..that way you can listen in every room.

  6. Metro lounge vibe is done let it go.

The days of e and glowsticks and shirts off are over.

Jonathan Peters knows that thats why hes getting out.

You are beating a dead horse. All the hot girls today want to hear hip hop so stop fooling yourselfs.

Let it go, Metro is added to the Rubiks cube, furby, elmo, atari 2600, neon under the cars list.

    Circa should do well though.

And props to the owners making it seem like it was a "the town doesnt like us thing" when it was really "we have to change our format and make money" issue.

    Academy award for that lie.

The Gullible Family should love it.

  7. Rydell spun for a while , it was great, Too bad no one was there. That picture of rydell was taken at like 1AM. Notice the main bar behind him, No one (ZERO) people at the bar while the bartender stands ther looking bored.

Also that night at tonic, over 21 people had blue wristbands while under 21 had orange wristband. Notice in the second picture the 18 year old girl with the coors light in her hand, with an orange wristband. How funny is that?

also that girl in the middle sitting down in the black shirt threw up all over the rug a few minutes after that picture. So thats a pre-yak picture.

    taste it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

other clubs changed this past summer as well....Hunka Bunka, Cherri, etc. Do you see Bon Solid trying to take over a new club every week and call it the "Hunka Bunka party at _______"???

I think a bunch of people who were involved in the Metro party in the past are trying to beat a dying drum....

    METRO is DONE!

    ENOUGH!!!!!!!

    well said

Lets see whose liquor license metro trys to "borrow" next. Not a bad deal, have a big party, that is known to contain certain individuals who partake in certain substances, at the risk of someone elses liquor license and insurance policy. Lets see who's the next dumb club owner to fall for the "We'll bring you a thousand people" line. Bottom line is "Metro Lounge" is very well known to law enforcement in a negative aspect and club owners might want to take this into account before agreeing to this. You will have a thousand or so people but, its your liquor license, your insurance and liability, and you are the one who will take the increased police presence every night you are open. Most customers do not like driving out of a club with police sitting across the street, so think about that before agreeing.

Just my opinion. Liquid blast THAT!

THE FRIDAY PARTY AT SOUTH PARK IS OVA!!!!

We could no longer subject ourselves (or our customers) to such a negitive atmosphere, and we have NO RESPECT for someone who does not keep their word.........what goes around comes around.THATS THAT!

Thank you sooooo much for support. Thats the bad news.......hers the good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    METRO HEADS WILL LOVE IT!!!

    AWSOME SOUND

    2 FLOORS

    MASSIVE STAGE

AND they really TRULEY are putting in LIQUID BLAST!!!!(another lie we were told that never happened at the "other "place)

EASY TO GET TO FROM everywhere!

and i have to say, the layout of the room reminds me of metro in a way. Plus there is an experienced owner there that knows thre support it takes to throw the kind of parties we do. I AM VERY CONFIDENT in this new club..........THIS WILL BE OUR NEW HOME

SORRY FOR THE SWITCH.............look foward to seeing everyone.More details next week.

    blah blah blah (yawn)

Metro is over, let it go.

Why dont you find another location to re-open Metro and not ride on the coattails of other people's liquor license.

  10. its south park..............not metro lounge

everyone will still compare it to the old metro

dont try to be something youre not and the "we are bringing the sound and lights" thing is getting played out.

you had your succesfull run, but i really dont think its gonna work at the new place, especially the "we are gonna turn south park around cause they dont know what they are doing" attitude

metro lounge was cool cause you could get wasted and get a room and party all nite, sleep it off and go home.... at south park that is not possible not to mention the overzealous police department.

    just my 2 cents.
