  1. First, I'd like to say it was my first time @ Space and man was I impressed. I'm from LA as well and I gotta admit, those of you back east have it nice regarding venues. Problem out here in lala land is few want to make the trek to club. Several larger "space like" clubs exist downtown, but few last long and none are outfitted like Space 34 is. My hats off to Miami!

I would also like to comment on Oscar. It was my first time seeing him live. I got to chill w/ him on the patio that AM as well, and he's one heck of a Dj. Anytime ya wanna play in lala land Oscar, let me know. Between Christos and I, you can have your choice of venues. :)

Re: Christos. I've been listening to Christos out here in LA for almost 6 years, and I have had the pleasure to be considered a good friend of his for the last year or so. I've heard him open for some of the best and heard him as the main act as well. Either way you slice it, his jam gets your feet moving. Too hard, not hard enough? I've heard both, but never from his fellow Djs. I do know he was very cognizant of where he was AND whom he was opening for. I was approached by a cpl of the sound guys and one of the bartenders who all said "he was one of the best opening DJ's they have seen @ Space". They also said he had the place jumping like never before BEFORE an Oscar G set. Truth or not, no matter, IMHO, everyone had a great time. :)

On a side note, he never went over 133/134 BPM as far as I could tell and he did play from 10 PM to 2 AM. Why were there so many ppl in the main room so early (3000+ in the club by 12:30)? I figured it was for Oscar et al, but regardless, the room WAS jumping (horns and all ;).

In any event, after watching Oscar take over and whip the crowd into an even higher frenzy, I never worried about how "hard" Christos was playing. Both those guys are pros on the decks as far as I am concerned, but Oscar, in Christos’s own words, "was the best".

    Peace.
