  1. I still like Ken Cole. Simple, but nice.
  2. Summer Dream - kuffdam & plant... just heard this recently on di.fm - such a good track
  3. www.nu-horizons.com great pay site for good trance stuff...all the dutch guys and more...pretty solid recordings...
  4. What songs do you like? Average soundtrack if you ask me...
  5. Jack like a man... When you snort the remainder of a jack shot off the back of a shot glass. The boys on the rugby team used to love that one.
  6. The photo man has spoken. Thread done.
  7. Just imagine when you hit 10,000 posts that will be your lifes achievement. That would be a lot of posts, you're right...
  8. I think she's actually probably a somewhat normal girl...just happened to get caught up in the whole media/hollywood thing...
  9. I have a Canon too. Pretty good shots. All I've ever heard from people when talking about cameras is to buy from a camera company, not an electronics company (although I've also heard that the new Sonys have great lenses in them...) What do people think about megapixles? Anything more than 4 is more than you need as far as I'm concerned...unless you're making prints larger than 8x10...most of my shots are just online anyway...
  10. First of all, watching World Cup soccer is very fun. Especially if you watch it with people from the country who is playing. Last world cup was awesome...watching the game with Brazillians was great down in Union Square. Curling is a GREAT game. I challenge anyone to try it once. it may not be so fun to watch, but once you've tried it...it's great...another Canadian invention...
  11. Not sure it's "gracefully", but I agree, do what you like to be hot. That fad may change over time though...just be careful. Question: Can girls with implants still breast-feed? ???
  12. Sheff is playing like a real champ this year. He's like 75 years old and he's stealing bases out there. That was a debateble cheap shot, but something nonetheless...that fan deserved to be chucked out...
  13. Agreed. Plus, the weather is getting nice...time to be in the outdoors...
  14. http://maps.google.com Click on "Satellite" in the top right corner. Now search for your home address...amazing...what will they think of next...
  15. Was born in Montreal, grew up in Ottawa. Great country. You're right too - any time you leave the country, you should bring your passport...
  16. Let's be honest to ourselves here. The whole league is on steroids, and there is little chance the Yankees don't take the AL east unless one of the main pitchers has a massive meltdown. Sox are already at that point. As for the Orioles...I expected them to be good last year and they stunk...I don't see that much improvement this year.
  17. lol great question...and so wrong all at the same time...
  18. It's going to be a great year. TV just got 100x better. Can't wait to get back to NY...the squad looks great... ;D Welcome home Tino.
  19. My new favorite dessert recipe...make this when you have folks over...so easy and can be made to present very fancy-like if you want. (I've seen it all now, people posting recipes on the CJ board...) http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_29936,00.html Chocolate Bundles with Chocolate Ganache Bundles: 1 sheet puff pastry 2 eggs 1 teaspoon heavy cream 8 chocolate kisses 8 miniature chocolate candy bars Ganache: 1/2 cup heavy cream 4 ounces milk chocolate, broken into small pieces Sweetened whipped cream, optional Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish Mint sprigs, for garnish Bundles: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Unfold puff pastry and cut the sheet into 2 (4 by 4-inch squares). Beat eggs and cream together to create an egg wash. Brush pastry squares with egg wash. Place 2 chocolate kisses and 1 mini candy bar in the center of each pastry square. Repeat with remaining kisses and mini-bars. Pull corners of the square up around the chocolate, brushing edges with more egg wash, if necessary, to create a secure bundle. Brush exteriors of chocolate bundles with more egg wash. Repeat with remaining bundles. Place bundles on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Ganache: In a sauce pan bring the heavy cream to a boil. Place the chocolate pieces in a bowl and pour hot cream over top. Whisk until smooth. Puddle ganache onto a plate and place 1 bundle on top. Top with whipped cream and additional ganache, if desired. Serve bundles garnished with strawberry slices and mint sprigs. (we had a bunch of fresh berries, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and chocolate sauce to cover them with...)
  20. http://www.othercinema.com/otherzine/otherzine4/auction.html This one is old, but gold...
  21. Not a terrible idea. We got there pretty early with advance tix (12:30) and got right in. It was already unbearably packed though. Tiesto's set was ok, but a bit disappointing for WMC. Patio was awesome afterwards though...I wish I had spent more time up there.
