I am pretty sure that in a city of 8 million there are only about 1,000 or 1500 people who are even interested in doing drugs and dancing for 36 hours straight on a sunday at 2pm
Maybe you can get that up to 2500 if you figure that 17 million live in the NYC metro area (NYC + burbs).

and makin sure that the sun isnt the only thing blazing that afternoon... 
Hangin on the lawn is fun but I have to say, I've done both inside (2003) and outside (2004) and I had a lot more fun on the inside.

so i might go to amsterdam in july for the 1st time! my question is what are some good hotels near the amsterdam arena? Also since it's my 1st time going, where do you people suggest in going for parties and just hanging out? thanks
Whatever you do, DO NOT get a hotel near the Arena. There's not a damn thing going on around there. Trust me, I lived in Holland for a year. You can take the subway from the center of the city to the Arena if you need to get there for some reason.

Actually, I think Avalon has a policy of 18+ for women and 21+ for guys.
I'm not 100% on this so I could be wrong. Feel free to correct this statement if you know for sure.
