  1. If you've been in the scene as long as you claim, I don't know why you haven't yet realized that Mansion is nothing more than a tourist trap. What did you expect them to have... underground dance music? I mean it's SoBe's largest club...YOu can be sure they are going to try to recruit as many posers as possible by marketing themselves as a venue that attracts "celebrities." :D

I live in New York and even I avoid Mansion when I am in Miami cause' it's always been a tourist trap. Not to mention a wee bit on the dark side! I saw that KFED sign last werek when I was there and I laughed. Most of the clubs & lounges in SOBE are weak these days!

  2. Yooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Whaddup!

Definitely come down to Blue on Tuesday!

You just night find yourself at Blue alot. That is where you will hear the best music. Cue is there on Sundays and he's great. Not much happening House-wise on Mondays though...

I will indeed! You played for me in Albany many moons ago. My company at that time was TBT Productions. I think we had you with Chris Harshman at a party called Grand Prix? We had over 1000 freaks at that event - good times. I used to be tight with Osheen - that is how I met you. Toby was a partner of mine, he is in Atlanta now he is getting some solid work as a DJ. We miss you in New York!

I will stop by and say hello. Glad to see you are still at it! Damn you have doing it a very long time now!

I am still doing big things up here in the clubs... I may finally make the move to the beach! Watch out now!

Justin Johnson from New York? That would be funny if that is the same Justin Johnson that used to be with Satellite Records here in New York?

I used to book him at raves that I used to do in the late 90's and early 2000's! Holy blast from the past! Great house music DJ! If that is the same guy I used to know I will check your party out?!

If you talk to him ask him if he remembers TBT in Albany?

  14. Aria is cool... I would compare it to ARC in NYC. It has an underground vibe and feel. It is very big. No alcohol and I believe it is 16+ - that was a down fall as it was packed with youngins and everyone was messed up on drugs. Cops are very leinient with drugs in Montreal at clubs. Also: the ventalation was piss poor as it was about 125 degrees on the dance floor when I was there.

You will end up at SONA for afterhours most likely. Every club head in Montreal goes to SONA. It stays open to like 11:00am the next day. DJ XL is the resident and he is without a doubt one of the best progressive DJ's in Canada. I saw Chris Fortier when I was there last time. Place was packed. SONA reminds me of a mix of Twilo & strange as it may sound Factory.

Both clubs are in warehouses and have plenty of space. Sona serves alcohol and has a much better sound system. All Turbosound stuff - the gigantic 10 foot disco ball a'la Twilo.

Stay away from the tourist joints on St. Catherines and Cresent Streets - meat heads and drunk American frat boys abound!

It is about a 3 hour drive from Albany, Albany is 2.5 hours from NYC (north). Drive is boring, but you can fly 90mph +. No cops, watch out for deer.

  15. Robbie is always off the hook... live or recorded. I have seen him blow parties up in Miami, NYC, Vegas - etc.

He is as good a DJ as a producer. Dont forget that Willie Morales is going to play for one hour as well and he is a very accomplished DJ/producer with Juicy Music as well.

Support the positive movement of dance music & culture in any part of the country!

    peace -:hat:
