-
I thought both of his singles we produced by the Neptunes.
did I hit a soft spot? lol
haha nah, just clearing that up...they're the bosses who sign my checks
-
something on his own meaning something without the neptunes.
the neptunes did not produce anything for his new album
and just for reference, they only did 1 beat for him on his last album

Keep in mind I'm a hip-hop guy and have been out of the dance music scene for a while so bear with me...
I'm looking for who did a remix to Kevin Lyttle's "Turn Me On." The version I'm looking for slows down at the break to the original tempo of the song, then back up...anyone help me out?

welcome to Virginia, aka the bible belt
go to the OceanFront tourist section of town here and the summer and you'll see signs for dumb laws like this posted on the streets...$300 fine for throwing cig. butts on the ground, $100 fine for loud car stereos, $100 fine for passing the same point in your car on the strip more than 2 times in an hour (which sucks because parking is a bitch in the summer and ya almost have to), and my personal fav....$100 fine for cursing in public

do you work for Murder Inc.
haha no i work for a company who's CEOs arent going to jail
-
...
ive seen that one a few different times around here
its getting as old as the "why lie, need money for beer, drugs, and hooker" one
-
Ok, waht is your set up? Cost, previewing of tracks, etc.?
well as far as the "cost" goes, that gets pretty complex
there is studio time, production charges, charges for actual beats, charges for writing if you needed assistance on that, and charges for copyrights on entire completed songs
the charges for copyrights and production time are usually always the same with my company...but studio time and writing are obviously negotiable based on the time spent on each
as far as samples go...i can send you some samples of beats/tracks that my company has done that havent been used and are for sale...and if your looking to hear a finished product...well, turn on the radio and your bound to hear something eventually before too long
-
you handle production for hip hop/r&b tracks? if so let me know your set up![/COLOR]
yes, i DJ and work for a pretty well known record label that is mainly associated with hip-hop
-
hit me up for originals
-
who cares...its a hat
as long as the guy gets recognized and is getting in
-
good album...would have been better if they putany of the 4 tracks the neptunes produced for it that the label wouldnt put on
-
Sean Paul - Aye Aye Aye??
thats a reggae song from mid summer of 04...but that might not be what your looking for
-
yet another classic produced by my boys
-
saw that episode last night...i think all the music they use on that show is original music made by someone for the show...otherwise they'd have to pay royalties, and something tells me that show doesnt have that kind of budget

Yo, if you wanna hear an ill Slim Thug song, get Jay-Z's new track. It features Slim, and he tears it up...it's called I Ain't Heard Of That Remix
thats not a Jay-Z track..its a slim thug track featuring Jay-Z...if ya wanna get technical, its a remix to a slim thug track "I Ain't Heard of That"
the original was with Pharrell
and y'all need to go buy this album when it comes out in the spring!
