  1. On Oct. 18 Josh NYNEX (Josh Atchley) from LA & Offworld Records broke

into Charissa's studio/home in LA and took the following items. There

is strong belief that they were sold to someone in AZ recently.

    The items are listed below:

    - 1 G4 Power Mac

    - 1 G4 Power Book

    - 1 Ipod

    - 1 17 inch plasma display

    - 1971 US Blond Fender Stratocaster Guitar (we feel he kept this item

    for himself)

Now here is the big problem. All of Charissa's songs for her upcoming

new album and lyrics she has been working on for both the new album

and other projects were on these computers, along with a variety of

personal items like photos, emails form family and friend and such.

I'm not going into how low this action is for someone claiming to be

a musician to steal from another is just shocking and repulsive.

Anyone who can offer any information please contact me (see below)

and I'll forward it on the Charissa. The fact that 4 years of her

life and artistic creation has vanished which in turn may deprive us

of ever hearing her new material is just sickening. She wouldn't be

so upset if it just a computer with some emails on it but this is

much more serious since those computer contained her blood, sweat and

    tears.

I don't have to point out to some that this happened to BT a while

ago twice. Once he lost several finished songs that we will never

hear, however the second time someone returned all his items after

posts were made all over the internet. So we have hope Josh and the

person in possession of these items will do the right thing.

Shame on you Josh! Serious... Musicians stick together as family with

    a unified mission.

leads and info to these missing items please send emails to

badjosh@dancingmice.net , it will be kept private at your request.

PLEASE POST THIS EVERYWHERE POSSIBLE, ALERT ALL MUSICIANS, PAWNSHOPS,

MUSIC STORES AND MUSIC WEBSITES (INCLUDING THOSE WHO HAVE

MEMBERS/VIEWERS FROM THOSE STATES) IN CALIFORNIA AND ARIZONA,

    INCLUDING SURROUNDING STATES.

    Peace

  2. Anyone know what is in store for LA this year ?

I'm in San Diego and I am sure that there will be nothing better going on here (as usual) than sitting at home watching the damn apple fall in Times Square.

My girl (from Rio de Janeiro) and I were just at Avalon a few weeks ago to see Danny Howells. We had alot of fun that night. She will be here again for New Years and I told her LA is happening on that night.

Let me just tell you guys who live in LA... you have it made compared to Tired Diego ! Other than Miami during the WMC I had almost given up hope on great clubs and parties in the USA. This recent trip to LA has restored my faith, I see you guys get alot of great local, national and international talent playing there every week.

Cheers to the LA scene !

    Greg

  3. Those of you in Miami and or have been to Nerve during the conference. Do you think that as long as I get to the club early my chances of getting in are good or should I take the chance on purchasing a Bliss WMC pass since most of the events I want to see are at Nerve and hosted by of course Bliss ?

My biggest fear is that I spend the money on this pass and still not get in, since I've never been to Miami, I have no idea what to expect.

Any advice and info would be swell.

    thanks,

    greg:)

  4. Does anyone know what venues Danny Will be playing at during the WMC ?

I've never heard this dude play but if his live dj sets are as good as any of his mix cds, I can't afford to miss one . He has never played in San Diego nor do I think any promoter here would bring him out and LA has been out of the question since my car has been useless to me for ages now.

I did read that he might be playing for a RIP Records happy hour or something, and at a private "industry" party at a place called BED.

Any info on other events I might be able catch one of his sets would be appreciated greatly.

  5. A friend of mine told me that the doormen at the clubs pick and choose who gets in the events. I'm going to be going to the WMC by myself, he says that the door guys really only pick out groups with hot girls or more girls than guys, well I'm a lone dude who just really wants to go hear some of my favorite djs (since most of this talent I would never hear in San Diego). He pretty much said "good luck" and recomended I find a group with girls or find a girl to stand in line with if I even wanted to think about getting in.

So for those of you who have been before, would you say his advice is credible ?
