i'm surprised they didn't use staples...most of the neurosurgeries i've been in were closed with staples for scalp incisions. unless it was stereotactic/endoscopic. btw, what type of cysts did you have? (and where did you get it resected?) i hope you were on post-op antibiotic prophylaxis.

on men with erectile dysfunction refractory to medication. thank goodness i don't have to look at any more penile repairs. now off to ears/nose/throat.

i'd like to go to narnia....much better than doing penile implant surgeries all day.

excellent summary howie! i just had an interesting case of a girl with vertigo (specifically, oscillopsia), nausea/vomiting and severe ataxia without tinnitus or nystagmus. MRI showed what appeared like a T2-hyperintense paracentral subcortical lesion, no involvement of the 8th nerve or other focal intensities. Dr. howie, what is the differential diagnosis and what further tests would you do?
