Wow, what a night.
Cobwebs are just starting to clear. I just dropped Heather and Ken off at the airport and they expressed their sincerest THANKS to Orlando for coming out proper. It was Heathers first time in Orlando and we are making plans to bring her back again. She had a blast!
As for the music, WOW. That about all I can say. Those two could do no wrong last night.
SoulPatch would like to thank EVERYONE who came out. There were many new faces last night as well as some old housers that we haven't seen in a while.
The show gets an A- in our book, right behind the H-Foundation show we threw a while back. Only downside was the air conditioning. It could have been a touch cooler. It didn't seem to stop the dancing, EVERYONE was getting their groove on last night.
Next on the calendar is Dizzy at the end of the month at Eli's Cribb. This will be a free show.

Been a while since Ive made a post. Still shakin the cobwebs off from WMC. Im glad to see we are getting some support from down south. Its recipricol fo sho. Its a done deal for the Vaughan, Sheldon, Jason, Rick house frenzy. We just gotta pick a date....hmmmm. Ill be calling you this week guys to pencil in some dates.

Here are some other points to ponder. I will agree that we arent the size and as diverse as Miami, but I must say we all need to look a little deeper. The same as Miami, Orlando has events and artists that arent in your city. Dont you want to hear about them? I welcomed the fact that I was able to be informed that Julius Papp is coming to Miami. If it wasnt for the thread, I probably wouldnt have known. And vice versa, East Coast Boogiemen, H-Foundation, Dizzy are all artist that are coming to our fine little city and not coming to Miami. Whether there is an Orlando thread or not, you can pretty much bet Ill still post our events here, for everyone to see. People can take from the post whatever they want, either to attend or not, reply or not, comment or not...
As far as the yo-yo that made the deragotory comment, I dont have time for it.

Been a while since i have posted on this site but after last night, Sean reminded me that he posted this event here.
Phil, its been a long time bro, hope things are going well. Hope you make the road trip up, should make for a great time.
I played with Micheal last night (and will tonight too) and he friggin dropped some of the most krunkified funk that pretty much ripped Orlando a new one. Just a warm up for this party.
Expect trip-hop, acid jazz and downtempo on the patio and uptempo house grooves inside. Its going to be a long day, so pace yourselves...
