What up people I just wanted to say as a long time resident of the nyc underground, and my weekend get a ways to vegas, everyone is right about one thing vegas is in need of help with there music. I have the soulotion are very own right from the east coast, ok check it, it was saturday nov 15th 6:15 in the morning and about to give up on vegas and there whack djs I walk in to Seven Alesium and from the door I hear NYC anthem TWILO THUNDER, now anybody from nyc or the world new about TWILO. I went right to the dance floor for AN hour !. Now that has not happen to me in vegas since god, Utopia in 98!. So after I was like I need to go see who this is, I go up to the stage dripping sweat and it is this FINE ASS dj his name was Trexx. So im standing there waiting there patiently while he does his extended mix and I MEAN EXTENDED this mix went on like man you just had to be there. The first words out of my mouth were ghgreujfkg!!! Sorry I mean where are you from You just touched my soul stronger then any other dj has, now that was some strong words because I have seen some good djs like Oakee in 97 in miami. and guess what he is from NYC, Educated in his music, Sh#t he is one of the club kids from disco 2000 Limelight NYC 90-95, I would say so. well I spent oo six hours with him and his wife sheri strawberry, What a pair she was the only women to hold down the main bar at utopia 96-99 and she is a dj too. So we talked about all kinds of stuff music, the scene, vegas , how all the djs hated on him when he first came here, you know what that is the wrong thing to do challenge someone from NYC, well anyway I give him mad props he has been around new orleans, florida, texas, mississippi, what they got a scene there! well I know I can say there is not a local dj in vegas that has played on a 100,000 watt sound system, so look out vegas cause he is here for a reason and I think I know what it is to bring the vegas scene back to life, So check it when you are in vegas next all you trance heads go see Dj Trexx at Alesium club Seven Fri and Sat 5:30 to 7,8,9 basicly when they tell him to stop cause nobody was trying to leave, He needs to be up at ICE Sh#t!! cause there Djs stink, I mean patio djs in the main room Im not gonna say anybodys name but he played at utopia and he was not in the main room.
