The main floor with Oscar G & Ralph Falcon was fuckin nuts, dirty nasty beats
I stayed a little more in the basement with the stimulus response folks as there was spaces to sit and rest down there.
-
yea its the Columbian Drug Cartel track
thx for the help guys
-
this was dropped around 3:40am in the basement with spanish vocals going "Necesito Mas"
-
It's a nice vocal song over this sick electro - house beat from Fall 06 Austin Leeds mix
vers 1
"I dont know what to do, still in love with you
another day has come, you say that you'll be gone
drivin me insane, im crazy over you
I dont know what to do, baby do you love me"
chorus:
is this love affair, something that you care, about
vers 2
"I'm reachin up for you, you got me so confused
im waiting for a clue, i still feel for you
drivin me insane, im crazy over you
i dont know what to do, baby do you love me"
chorus:
is this love affair, something that you care, about

'PUT THE NEEDLE ON THE RECORD' is an award-winning documentary which explores the evolution of electronic music and the rise of the DJ in pop culture. Filmed in Miami during the hot and sexy Winter Music Conference, a yearly week-long event attended by over 20,000 electronic music professionals and fans, the film takes an inside look at a growing global phenomenon in the world of music. Interviews with top artists, footage from events around the globe and a brilliant soundtrack are combined to create a highly energetic piece of filmmaking. First-time director Jason Rem brings an unexplored genre of music to the masses for a glimpse at a movement that is driven by passion, creativity and business. The film has been called "A rock solid documentary," and "An event to savor in wonderment," and is not to be missed.

ny def needs lawler here REGULARLY, DT too, we didnt realize how spoiled we were to have danny here every weekend @ arc! . as for pacha tho, i dont know how u can say its only good when johnny and morillo are there. it seems to me it might be the worst when they are there. just recently, james zabiela and dj vibe rocked pacha, with an amazing vibe! im sure oscar g is gonna rip that place a new asshole as well. i really want to see spirit do well as that sound system is really going to waste. if they got lawler as a bi-monthly or monthly resident that would be a giant step to turning that club around.
Pacha is better when JP or Morillo arent spinning since their crowd is garbage,Morillo is like the Tiesto of house/tribal music, i wont even get started on JP, its hilarious going to the JP board and seeing people post the EXACT F!CKING SAME TRACKLISTING after every party, there's always GTI,Women beat their men and always a reply with "JP tore the place apart with his 30 minute mix of GTI"
DJ Vibe at Pacha was crazy, even Richie Santana was better than JP/Morillo even after being shoved upstairs since a private asian party occupied the main floor (back like 2 months ago)
-
Calderone should have done the S&M instead of JP this year
-
great meeting ya crobaralex
here's a couple pics from the store the Back 2 Back CD is fuckin crazy btw
-
im there, leavin in 5 mins
-
If I see ya Silverbull I'll say hi, never did get a chance to meet as I havent been out in a while, trying to save up for vacation in mexico in August
-
-
sheldon the first track is insane, can you post tracklisting?
What I love about this mix especially is that the beats have some groove to them instead of just straight up pots and pans, great track selection, got me bouncing around at my job since this morning

Got there with 8 of my friends and of course a huge ass artificial line as you approach the club with 90% asians and another line on right with 90% less asians(lol) so i was like wtf, the main floor was all hiphop & reggaeton and basement isolated for a private party all the asians attended. So basically everybody no in the private asian party was packed into the top level via elevator or main room with crap hiphop. The crowd was well balanced, the beats were fuckin great & sounded great too as the top floor has a very low ceiling. At one point Richie fucked up his set and left us all listening to boos for like 5-10 secs, also that chick getting fingered right in front of everybody on the sofa was priceless
My first time at the building since SF closed down and it looks worse than it did before. Definetely didnt feel like being in the SF building, only the balcony still leaves memories
All in all good night, i guess the only reason people actually came out was the 18+ as Pacha probably tried to lure as many people before the madness tonight at S&M w/JP. I'd go for the music and performances alone but I cant stand being in a room full of crackheads 2 nights in a row, at least not anymore
ps. It's funny how some girl started dancing & bugging out in a circle at one point looking wrecked and hearing people comment like: "yo you dance sick" or "sick moves girl" - lol
absolutely no fuckin rhythm but hopping up & down like its hard house or happy hardcore
-
wow, some crazy shit in middle, I like tracks between mins 18-44 best. The track at min 39 is fuckin sick.
Overall good mix
ps. at 16min 45 sec the beat sounds awesome as you slowly mix in the next track
-
please keep it underground, when i first started tuning in - in beginning it was nice, dark & underground and then right before the whole site went down most of the dj's sucked dick with their trancey happy hardcore sets, too commercial

You guys are best with helping ID some songs so I figured I'd give this a shot
I know this is a tough one, I've been looking for this track for 2 yrs now, its a very loungy- house song with very pleasing female vocals saying something like "lose your miiiind, lose your mai ai ind , lose your miiind, lose your mai ai a ind" throughout the track
Do any of you have any idea what this could be? She could be saying something else but it sounds like she's saying Lose Your Mind
Help me out!

Back even when I used to do afterhours, the lack of girls was always a problem. The only ones you would find were the ones whacked out of their minds or the few really tired ones hanging with their boyfriends but dying to leave. Most pretty women need their beauty rest so don't expect any real hotties at 8, 9, or 10 in the morning.
I remember when I was with my girlfriend, I'd meet up with her at a more mainstream club like Mirage and then tell her I'd be going to Arena for afterhours. She could never understand that but so what. Get laid before or after afterhours to get your sex thang off and then for afterhours for your groove thang!
very nicely said

I went to Avalon a couple months back on a Saturday and 75% of the people were Asian, it was one of the worst clubbing nights I've had, not a single hot asian chick, weird 35-55 looking asian people, everywhere where it was dark you saw dozens of completely cracked out asians violently shaking their heads and shit, discusting vibe, thank god for crobar- there should be like a 10-20 asian limit, of course the bad ones, fiujianese or whatever they're called ruin it for the others, it is fucked up that asians are singled out at the doors however there is a good reason behind it, how does it look where you go to a club, bangin chicks, overall good looking people and a 45 year old looking skinny asian twitching in middle of dancefloor - kills the vibe

85% of the crowd going for Vic's parties is so fucked up on meth they love the dark, tribal monotonous beats so he will always have a following, in my opinion his sets at 7-8am and overall vibe is probably the most dark & hardcore you'll find in NYC
-
I <3 JP!
lol
-
I honestly dont see this party going past 2-3 am, it will most likely get raided due to some young girls od'ing or too packed and nypd will just want to shut it down
-
lol

I think Crobar consistently breaks the fire code, regardless of who's spinning. I was there for David Waxman and Ferry Corstein, and all these times it was barely possible to move around the club. Also no place to sit down around the main floor is a big problem there. I don't even go to Crobar anymore, unless with a bunch of people so that we take a table and stay the whole night.
I'm with ya
