So my question is. what happened? does something need to be widely spread and loved by many for people to give it a chance and be like.."yeah its good..i like it" because it seems that so many people can hear a song..and say.."eh..its ok" but after the radio plays it and it starts getting widespread exposure in club(or whatever). People are like..OHHH I LOVE THAT SONGGG! - I hope he plays it! (when originally on their first listen, they werent too moved. So when did funk house become so popular? (dont tell me it always was..cause it was....... Truex, although i agree with alot of the shit you post, I have to say Mutual IS a CLASSIC track. Thats from 98, so it definitly qualifies as the genre promoted for the event. To be honest though, the mix you mentioned seems a little bit hard compared to some of the tracks that were listed on another post. How can you go from cheese to HARD old school nyc house? the c5, i used to hate. But now it grew on me. the c6, is till think looks nasty. dont think it will grow on me.

the ONE time it was on purpose(till i come)..the other times werent.....if u saw his face..he was giving his freinds a look like..AHH FUCK..and tried blaming the equipment. As for the scratching, it was really good...sounded like a beat. He wasnt doing anything amazing....but he scratched a record that gave a nice simple 4x4 beat to it as he scratched. He went off once. But it was still sick. But if you put him up against a turntablist..it would b a different story. thing is. If someone did that on a normal system it would sound like shit. People need to realize that if he played on a normal 2 speakers average bedroom/studio dj system, he would have sounded like shit. Alot of djs cant mix.. and alot of newbs can do better...thing is..when u play at a club, bass is so loud..and everything is pumpin, that if your a little off....nobody notices..if it was on another system..it would sound like ehhh..nothing impressive.

He couldnt mix for SHIT. Music selection was awesome though , and the vibe had somewhat of a little brother feel when compared to other huge trance events(alotta youngins with shirts off). His style of djing was veyr amatuer, BUT being that he has laid down some great tracks over the years, he has paid his dues and regardles the party was very good. The selection was great....i loved the tunes he rocked, but as a dj, definitly nothing special. Micro might have been better.

Go to punda beach in paros - You wont want to leave the island. trust me. Also , stay in Nasoussa , not Parikia. BUTTT theya re both like 8 min away from each other so its no biggie either way. BUTTT Definitly check out Hard Rock in parikia. Its a club mall. Imagine walking into a building and then inside that building you find, 5 bars, 3 clubs etc etc..ALL connected - each with different music, decor..etc. I grew up in paros, i go every year..if you want more info.
