Well, you dtive for the talent though...don't be picky! SD does not have the scene that LA does...no choice. Like I said, On Broadway is cool every now & then. Good venue

Thanks! I'm glad there's some kind of nightlife there. We leave the 14th, so I'll let u know if I need more info. Yeah, I wouldn't drive to Miami unless there was some big talent. It will be fun to take weekend trips there though. I love SoBe!

I'm new to the site & I hope some of you can help me out. I'm from Chicago & have been living in SD CA for a year. I'm getting transferred to Jacksonville, FLA in a few weeks. Does anyone know of any good clubs there (if any)? I'm kind of doubtful as to if there is even a scene there for djs. At least Miami is only a 5 hour drive...

I've lived in SD for about a year. I'm about to move again to FLA. On Broadway is a pretty nice club downtown. It depends on what type of music you like. They bring good talent once in a while. I'm from Chicago, so I was getting pretty used to techno. There isn't much of a techno scene in SD...mostly house music. LA isn't such a bad drive though & this year we've seen Hawtin, Cox, Picotto & Adam Beyer there.
