  1. I've got to be at work at 7:30 am and I'm throwing this party, so just come out and have fun. Louie barely ever comes to DC and this is gonna be a crazy night with the Live performance and Blaze and Louie...Few I'm out breath just thinking about it.
  2. We're consulting with Louie on this show and he said he wants to make sure the club is full when the EOL goes on. If people come out early enough then maybe they'll go on earlier (hint hint).
  3. Kevin Hedge goes on from 10-12 and the Live EOL set begins at 12
  4. This Saturday is the first day of Spring!!! Please come on down to Five and help us celebrate new beginnings with Jay-J and the All About crew.
  5. Next Wednesday's event at Five with Little Louie is shaping up to be a VERY spiritual event. If you miss this you WILL regret it. Come support and help show Louie what DC is all about. Did anyone see Louie in Miami? Testify!

  9. Once again we want to thank EVERYONE who made our first All About event at Five a true success. We had an awesome time and now it’s time for the second installment of All About at Club Five. This time on Saturday March 20, 2004 we’re bringing you San Francisco’s own Jay-J Hernandez!!! In the world of dance music production, Jay-J has become a name that carries major weight. Jay-J is admired and respected worldwide as both a superior producer and an excellent DJ. Undoubtedly "down from day one", Jay-J has established a strong reputation as one of the producers with the "Midas Touch". Grounded firmly by his deep understanding of the vibe of dance music, and aided by his outstanding production chops and world class recording facility, Jay-J has releases on numerous solid labels and has been seminal in the establishment of some of the scene's hottest artists. Opening Moulton Studios in 1998 had him turning his focus from the venues to his own world-class studio, and in the years since its conception Moulton Studios has had a significant role in establishing the sound of San Francisco's dance music. His production resume includes releases on labels from the UK to New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Most notable is his engineering influence on productions for San Francisco's "Naked Music", which have taken the dance world by storm and achieved international acclaim. It is commonly felt that the production quality on these releases has taken the music to a higher level, and Jay-J's state of the art production facility, Moulton Studios, has become known as the place to go to make superior quality music, both electronic and otherwise. Come check out a true master of the art of House Music!!! 10. All right everyone. It’s official!!! Little Louis Vega is bringing his Elements of Life to DC!!! Famous for his many contributions to the house community, Louie Vega touches down in Washington DC on Wednesday March 24th along with singer-songwriter Raúl Midón, rising superstar Anané and very special guest Kevin Hedge from Blaze to present Louie’s long awaited solo album “Elements of Lifeâ€. Exploring, dissecting and fusing musical genres like Bossanova/Samba, "African Jazz", Salsa and Soca as well as languages like English, Spanish, Cape Verdian, Yoruban and French, “Elements of Life†is a gorgeous musical collage and is further evidence of Louie’s boundary-breaking musical genius. Renowned for the emphasis he places on live performance and musicianship - not only in the world of production but also as a dj where he is known for bringing musicians to play live over his sets - for the first time in the Washington DC/Baltimore area, Little Louie Vega will be performing LIVE as the Elements of Life. And that’s not where it ends folks, because Louie and Blaze's own Kevin Hedge will also be djing. Come spend an intimate evening with the All About and M3 families as we present to you something truly special. Club Five 1214-B 18th St., NW Doors open at 8pm 21 & over Admission $15
