Log on at www.breaksfm.com to listen in... WAVEWHORE: With his recent releases on high profile record labels such as Broke, BreaksFM and Electrofly, his forthcoming Audio Tactics Recordings imprint and DJ appearances all across the country, Wavewhore is quickly building a reputation as one to watch in the global break beat community. His skills behind the decks have also led him to host ‘The Audio Tactics Sessions’ on the award-winning www.breaksfm.com where he can be heard every other Monday evening from 8-10pm EST and he recently appeared as a guest on Liquid Todd’s ‘Altered State’ radio show on WKTU 103.5 FM New York City. As a DJ, Wavewhore has consistently held the top breaks residency in his home base of New York City and has shared the stage with almost every major international breakbeat artist. His high-intensity DJ sets blend many styles of breaks from funk to tear-out to tech into powerful and effective mixes that whip dancefloor crowds into a frenzy. Wavewhore’s cutting edge music has also received high level support from many of the top names in the business including Aquasky, Freestylers, General Midi, DJ Icey, The Autobots, Annie Nightingale, Jay Cunning, Chris Carter, Soul of Man, Elite Force, Ctrl Z, Klaus Hill, Sunz of Mecha and many more. Wavewhore began his musical career playing heavy metal guitar and toured the New York City area in the early 90's. During that time, he was also experimenting with electronic music and in 1992, Well Primed Records released his first electronic dance music composition titled "Voodoo". In 2004, Wavewhore signed with Electrofly Records and "Breakin' The Law" was released on vinyl in May 2005. His mammoth "Funk Pill" single, which features vocals from Bex Riley, was released on Broke Recordings in 2005 and has been repressed on vinyl four times. “Funk Pill†was also licensed to Finger Lickin’ Records for the “Export 01†compilation mixed by the Drumattic Twins and released that same year. In October 2006, Broke released Wavewhore’s most recent funk-filled single titled “This Is How It Should Be Done†and in the same month his heavy remix of Rektchordz’s “Bass Pressure†was also released on the BreaksFM imprint. The “Bass Pressure†remix has reached anthem status in the massive breakbeat raves in Spain. Forthcoming releases include a remix of D-Ranged’s “Assembled†which is scheduled to appear on BombTraxx in 2007. Wavewhore’s name is derived from his addiction to manipulating audio waveforms and from all appearances he promises to be an inspiring force in electronic dance music. 10. Big up the room called Sullivan!!!
  11. There!!! And I’ve got some exclusive, yet unreleased Wavewhore material for the dancefloor! Just finished up my remix of Rektchordz' "Bass Pressure" for the Mechanoise camp and I'll be droppin' it at this event… The tune is 100% pure evil and is getting cained by all the top names like Aquasky, The Autobots, Sunz of Mecha and too many more to mention!!! Upcoming 12" vinyl release scheduled for Fall 2006 on the newly minted Mechanoise UK sub-label - the one called BreaksFM... I've also got my new single for Broke "This Is How It Should Be Done" which sits on the funkier side of things and is receiving huge support from DJ Icey, Control Z, Soul of Man, The Autobots, Myagi etc.!!! 12" vinyl release also scheduled for Fall 2006 on Broke Recordings.... Keep it dialed!!! <<<WAVEWHORE>>> Untitled Document BreaksFM - The 4 Time #1 Heavyweight Champion Award Winning Streaming radio station for Breaks!
