  1. Too bad you don't know how to take a joke and obviously don't understand sarcasm. One day you will, thanks for playing try again next week. Oh yeah, you can take your little "argue with foolish people" speach and shove it up your ass. Adult enough for you ;)

Being that it took you a few days to reply....I will give it to you, and admit that must have a life.

On that note, lets end this private chat between you and I, and let the rest of the people on this thread speak their mind and discuss "Markus Schulz/Nu NRG @ Spirit, Fri 2/18".

    Remember, the thread?

    :):):):)

  2. I know I am, I'm a responsible adult with a real job, a mortgage and everything. Thanks for the vote of confidence on my maturity level.

You are not very mature and need to learn to read sarcasm into 90% of what's said in this board. But as you're a noob I'll over look it this time

    The Mature One

You obviously have too much time on your hands, so keep on posting.

This is a message board, and I am here to find useful information regarding the nightlife, and the dance scene. Not to argue with foolish people who think that they are adults.

Now, I am going back to work, so post whatever you feel like. There will be no reply from me. I simply don't have time for this. If you are an adult, there will be no reply from you too.

    Have a nice day.

  3. The e-mail said:

"Due to poor ethical behavior demonstrated by Spirit Management, SPIRIT Promotional Team has seized all its operations at Spirit New York (530 West 27th Street) effective today (Wednesday, December 15th)."

Now, if the case is really that the promoters left the venue and the promoters sent out this e-mail, then the really poor ethical behavior was demonstrated by the PROMOTERS and not by Spirit Management.

If Made Event takes over it would be better anyway. But this is just a rumor.

I like that place. They just upgraded the sound system and the vibe in there is really good.

I hope it stays as good as it is. :):):)

  4. 4 hours is not long for his NYC gigs.

    They usually run 5-8 hours

however, i would not be suprised if he goes longer than 4 hours.

this is not paul oakenfold, and if he is feeling the vibe he will stay longer

still want to see what the other options are for NYE though

NO way PVD will spin more then 4 hours. Don't be surprized if he spins less then the promissed 4 hours. PVD usually spins at 2 or even 3 different places every year on NYE. He will spin for a couple of hours and rush out to get on a flight to the West Coast or to Dallas. Watch and C, and do not say you have not been warned :-)

And please don't get me wrong. I love PVD. He is my favorite DJ, and when he does have time, he does spin late based on the vibe transmitted from the crowd.

Either way, I hope everyone have a great time!!!

  5. I agree that if someone considers a DJ to be a God...than something is definitely wrong with him/her....However, what's wrong with getting super excited about a DJ that knows how to take you the that "next level".

If you think a DJ is just someone who spins music, then you probably don't understand the whole concept of going to a party in order to release some stream, and disconnect. A really good DJ will know what to spin, when to spin it, and will eventually be able to put the crowd in a "State of Trance"...that's my definition of Armin...I have seen him countless times in different places around the world..and he never disappointed me...

I saw plenty of DJs who are supposed to be good, but were never able to do what Armin does....That's what separates the average DJ from a talented DJ who can read the crowd and select his music based on feedback from the crowd....

    Armin Is The Man!
