in the NBA it's better to just go for whatevers best at the time rather than build up for the future; keep in mind 3 years is a lifetime in the NBA, if they can get 3 years of Shaq that's great... building a young team is just too hard, the pistons were able to pull it off thanks to Joe Dumars great draft picks and trades, but usually your contracts catch up with you by the time your team is prepared and so the whole process becomes pointless.

I'd back you up but I think you're wrong heh... looks are a small part of getting a girl attracted to you, the rest is all personality. For guys its the opposite, we get turned on by their looks, for girls its the other things. If a really ugly guy is with an extremely hot chick though, its probably because he's loaded, but as long as you're atleast average looking, you can land most chicks if you know what you're doing. Girls are too emotional to just go for looks... they need that connection/attraction, you just need to know how to push their buttons.

Keep in mind the kid just turned 18, they saw talent in him, now they just need to develop him. It's not fair to judge him by the way he plays now.
