  3. I don't know. I usually see them just laughing amongst themselves. It usually starts with xlr8ted posting something, then stymie will post a laughing icon, and then kaydup follows suit....It's like they have it planned
  4. LOL It's posts like these.
  5. I think they can be funny at times. they are mockers. mocking anything is usually very funny
  6. dogekid shouldve made the list as well. But I think theyre all hilarious.
  7. Nomar has averaged about 7 more homers than Jeter per year. Staggering.
  8. Everything has been put on the table for you. If you don't understand it by now, you never will. Yeah, Boston is a harder city to play in, right. The Cubs haven't won it in a million years either. I guess Chicago is also a tougher place to play in than New York? Oh, and I think we'd agree that the stats all even out except for the homers. True, Nomar has about 50 more home runs than Jeter. Holy cow!
  9. Well, at least the Yankees now have the two best shortstops in the game. I love the way Georgie is willing to spend all this money to embarass the Sox.
  10. Let me just say that I think this only because I believe Nomar is on a downturn in his career.
  11. How could you say that and be so sure? Jeter has been the Yankees' leader for years now. How can we be so sure that Nomar would've acted in the same manner Jeter did, thus winning all those rings? How do we know how Nomar would play in New York? One player CAN make all the difference.
  12. You're trying to trivialize the numbers by using decimal points. And, you still haven't mentioned stolen bases. The only things I can think of that Nomar has an edge over Jeter are homers and slugging%. But that's not enough to give Nomar the edge. Let me say something pretty bold right now. Jeter will go to the Hall of Fame. I really don't think Nomar will.
  13. I guess the fact that Boston was ready to ship him to Chicago for Magglio Ordonez really says alot, huh?
  14. You really are, though. Because I'm only following your lead in being technical. I.e: Lifetime Batting average: Jeter .317 Nomar .323 They are in about a statistical deadlock as can be. Everything evens out. Except for the fact that Jeter has been and unrivaled leader in the clubhouse. And all the rings.
  15. Did you read this yet, or are you going to ignore it? Let me try and put this into lehman's terms for you. If two players were both to bat .300. It is only logical to realize that the cleanup hitter will have many more r.b.i than the leadoff man. This is just common sense. How don't you fall down more?
  16. You are so fucking retarded. I can't believe you're not getting it. Jeter IS clutch because he does what he's supposed to!!! Get on base! That's what leadoff hitters do! And then the big bad clean up hitters come up and drive them home! Very simple, really.
  17. All you just did was recycle everything I posted. You didn't explain anything. But I do like how you try to weasel out and use the "protected lineup" angle. And, we know about the slugging% already, Jesus. Is that all you have to offer? They are two different hitters. Jeter does strikeout more but he also walks alot more. So, in the future let's just refer to OBP%, as it is indicative of the two.
  18. You know, you keep mentioning the whole "r.b.i" thing but you cant seem to figure out why he has such low numbers with a great batting average. It's because he bats leadoff!
  19. With a lifetime average of .270, a torrid OBP% and just 3 good years in the MLB, I wouldn't be so quick to put him above Jeter. The guy can't get on base!
  20. You know what you did? You probably went somewhere like baseballreferance.com and found the categories in which Nomar has a slight advantage. But, you left out some very significant stats. Where are the # of BB's SB's, OBP%, oh, and RUNS scored! You want to get back to me on those numbers? The reason Nomar has an edge in R.B.I''s is because I think he bats third? And, didn't he bat cleanup at some point in his career? I'm not sure. So, obviously with Jeter batting leadoff most of his career and then moving onto second.....It's only fair to assume Nomar would have more ribbeys. And, you mentioned nothing about defense? Is offense the only way to determine a great player? If Arod wasn't as good as he is defensively he would definitely not be considered the best in the game. Over the last two seasons Jeter has 28 errors compared to that of Nomar who has 45. Jeter has a slightly better FP% as well. There are many ways to argue this....
  21. LOL I've been reading the board since last summer. Very interesting material!
  22. No drama. I just don't know the reason.
