the eclipse is being mass produced and is evidently the turnaround car that mitsubishi is hoping for.. mitsubishi is going to be able to back up whatever demand there is for this car, thus elminiating the need for a privilage to buy the car.. i also dont see an auction working for the mitsu because it is a poormans sports car...
Absolutly correct. Supply and demand. There will be enough Eclipses produced to meet the demand and no reason for anybody to pay a premium.
Plenty of cars have been sold at a premium over the years and this Mitsubishi is not going to be one of them.

This Mitsu should never be compared to a BMW. A 6 series is a limited production car and will never be mass produced in numbers like a Mitsubishi Eclipse will. Fact is the demand (if any) for the Eclipse will be over in one month after it hits the streets.

after looking through RF's website, it doesnt seem that they make head units at all for automobiles.
They made some head units a fews years back and they sucked.

I just read on the Hummer site that it will be a 3500 or 3.5 L with 220hp. That is the same as the Colorado and Canyon trucks. Not enough juice.

the engine is going to be a problem (5 cylinder).
I agree the current 5 cyl may be a problem. GM does have a way tweaking the same motors to produce more power in lines like Cadillac and Hummer. The 6.0 produces 300hp in a Chevy or GMC truck and they brought it up to 325 for the H2. Even if they add a little to the current 5 cyl it may not be enough.

What a sick party!!! Well over 1,000 people in there. we had a circus theme with performers all over the club and on stage doing some crazy stuff...too cool.
I would also like to formally thank the owners for hanging the ceiling cage with the lovely dancing girls in front of my VIP bar. It made it VERY hard to concentrate on drink orders!
There was a great vibe in there, music was great!
If anyone on this board was there I would love to hear your thoughts on the evening.
The guys paycheck comes from S-9. Nuff said

That is true.
He seems to have blinders on and literally does not read between the lines, my posts and others. He did refer to the current car as a girls car and "the new one is fire." Whatever.

I never said anything about the New Eclipse and girls.
You say the current Eclipse is a girl's car and the new one is Fire.
The 2006 Eclipse has not been out long enough for anyone to determine it is a "girls car." Only time will tell. I do not disagree with you right now on a 2006 Eclipse. Understood.

I will repeat this one more time. Three different people refered to an Eclipse a a girls car. Please go back and read their posts, Mrmiyagi, 3rdflapartment, and OU812. I NEVER said it was a girls car myself, they did. Also don't say anything about me and school because you are the one that does not understand here. I can read and understand all three posts from mrmiyagi. 3rdlf and OU812, can you?
