    I don't know about 80's music in the NYC club scene now but Larry Tee, who was a huge force in the Electroclash movement, has a night at Duvet on Thursdays called Distortion Disko which is probably the best place if you want to dance to the latest electro music. I haven't checked it out yet but Happy Valley on Tuesdays is suppose to be a lot of fun. Bank, Larry's new club on Saturdays, is starting this Saturday. However if you can't deal with clubkids and gay men then I would avoid these places (don't get me wrong, there are a lot of str8's there just for the music). There's obviously 'straight' electo bars out there so lemme know if you're looking for something more like that. I can always ask Larry when he's playing at a str8 club - he's doing that this Tuesday I think.

    I'll probably head to Distortion Disko this Thursday to see what its all about. I don't mind the clubkids and gay men, but if you know of any 'straight' electro bars ask your friend Larry and keep me posted and I'll definately check it out! Thanx.
