Saturday June 25th, get ready for the biggest, best Mass Transit yet.!

A former Chicagoland native, Sharaz moved to Florida in 1986 to attend college. With the exception of one year in a stuffy Connecticut school, he’s been here ever since.[/font
In the five years since the label’s inception, Sharaz has released over 35 records, and five compact discs (see discography). Sharaz has provided remixes for other imprints such as Tommy Boy Records, POD Music, Kaleidoscope, DBI records and a few others. Two of his more recent tracks have been charted on “Billboard’s†Hot Dance singles. He <o:p>has also done two mixed CD compilations for StreetBeat Records.
A literal darling of mixshow radio, 941’s tracks have been featured on XM Satellite Radio, DirecTV satellite, plus countless FM mixshows throughout North America and beyond. Although not a nu-school artist, Sharaz’s “Switched†was highly charted by the likes of the Plump DJs, Way Out West and Hyper just to name a few.<o:p> More recently, Sharaz's track "Madagascar" was rated #18 in DMX's "Trends". His one-off house remix of Jus Chris's "Cut'n & Scratch'n" was immediately picked up by Promo Only.

Sharaz has provided five big original tracks or remixes to radio. Robin Fox’s “I See Starsâ€, DJ X’s “Use Your Loveâ€, Everything But The Girl’s “Wrongâ€, a bootleg of G-Park's "You Got Me Fallin" and his own “Just Can’t Wait†found their way to radio rotation and have converted legions of new fans to the 941 sound. He's now remixing tracks for house giant Tommy Boy Records (home of Afrika Bambaataa, Amber, Information Society and remixers like Hex Hector and Johnny Vicious) as well as other independent labels like DBI and Reptile. His first remix of the classic Fierce Ruling Diva's track "You Gotta Believe" will be released along with remixes from legendary house act Superchumbo on Tommy Boy and shot to #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Charts. Sharaz has produced two tracks for hip hop legend Afrika [/bBambaataa and also for TC Izlam. Both artists sought Sharaz out because of his unique production style.

<o:p>Sharaz is one of the few EDM producers who can easily and convincingly switch from one style to another. His repitiore spans from Breaks to Hard House and from Garage to Disco House. Recently Bad Boy Bill has been seen spinning his newer house tracks, and his tracks "God's Child" and funky disco house anthem "Respect" were good enough to make it on to Promo Only's Mainstream Club series (under an alias). This is an honor to any artist because space on those particular editions are given only to the biggest house producers in the world. "I don't get any real recognition for that," says Sharaz. "I don't really care, though." Longtime friend and DJ, Mark Sanchez says, "Most of the fans listening to breaks have absolutely no clue how much talent it takes to switch up styles like Sharaz does. He makes it look easy when it isn't...Few producers have the musical range to do this."
During his very busy touring schedule, Sharaz has spun with the likes of the Richard "Humpty" Vission, DJ Mea, Darude, DJ Rap, The Warp Brothers, The Bassbin Twins, Paul Oakenfold, Baby Anne, Storm (UK), Dave London, D-Fuse, The Crystal Method, Reid Speed, Icey and countless others. The list continues to grow. On his days off, Sharaz spends a good part of his time flying airplanes.
