Whattup... This Friday the 9th, we're back (unbelievably) at 'Caffe del Mare' (don't know how we do it). To say that last week's turnout was bad would be an understatement. Can't even say we were playing to the bartender, cause even the bartender didn't show up. Ouch! But against all odds, we were asked to return...in fact they even wanna gives us an extra night. The music and the vibe is on point...just have to be more consistant with the crowd. Well, doesn't hurt to give it another shot. It's a prime location, (MacDougal and Bleeker). The atmosphere and the decor is also a gem. Let's see how this one turns out. :::Caffe del Mare...87-89 MacDougal St on the corner of Bleeker::: In sharp contrast, last Saturday, at 'Karavas' was bananas! We had an especially strong salsa set that had everybody moving on the floor. Zaida and her crew were there...Carolina, I'm still waiting for those pictures ; ). Join us this week for yet another birthday bash. This time around we will be celebrating Alex "Santos" Cruz's B-day. Get your drinks early cause Santos is liable to drink the bar under. Hey Guys and Gals... This Friday the 3rd, we're back once more at 'Caffe del Mare' (seems like I was misspelling the name before...oops). Last week's turnout was a little better. Not crowded, but a happy bunch nonetheless. Even had some hardcore partygoers doing backflips! I blame that one on the drink specials. I want to also give a shout out to Sulafa, Omer and Alicia; they were there at the end. If I recall correctly, Omer was visiting from the Sudan. So now FUnCKiUM has taken a small step towards becoming international! hehe.. :::Caffe del Mare...87-89 MacDougal St on the corner of Bleeker::: And as always, we'll be at 'Karavas' on Saturday. Last Saturday, we had some of our E-Town crew in effect. It was good to see those familiar faces. Much love.
