  7. DJ Huggie "Huggie" has been dedicated to the Global Underground Movement prior 1992! With an unrelenting passion for the music, the people, and the vibe it creates, "Huggie" has been focused on supplying the beats to universal movers, and global groovers of dance music all over the world! With over 19 years of hard work and dedication under his belt, "Huggie" has reached, & touched the lives of faithful music loving fans everywhere. With a unique and intriguing sound that can only be described as his own, his sets are difficult, if not impossible, to pin down to one style. With hints of House, Tribal, Techno, & other elements, you can rest assured that each and every one of his sets, is focused on creating that one mystical roller coaster ride. Each set is designed and formulated to make you move, to make you think, to make you feel, & most importantly..Ö To make you remember. As a DJ, "Huggie" never disappoints the crowd and truly enjoys spinning extended 4-8 hour sets where he can showcase the full digital spectrum of his unique style. On occasion "Huggie" will add the flavor of live percussionists to his performances with the "Vector Tribe Drummers.î With an uncanny ability to combine all genres of electronic-music-mayhem together, seamlessly throughout his set, he sets forth to educate those who think a DJ has to have only a one-genre style. He refuses to limit himself to one sound or genre of music, because to him, all music is connected one way or another. Music to him is truly a form of self-expression, and a way to release his emotions at that time. That makes each set different. That makes each set moving. That makes each set worth waiting for. Being credited with many accomplishments throughout his career, "Huggie" is proud to hold the honor and respect of being one of the most talented DJs North America has to offer. With an uncanny versatile awareness to the crowds needs, ìHuggieî can adapt to Clubs, Massive, & intimate gatherings. From the LA Coliseum to intimate small gatheringsÖ. This man can do it all. Having played forty-seven of the fifty states, and having toured in such illustrious places as Korea, Italy, Hawaii and Canada, he is preparing himself for a busy 2007. "Huggie" first gained notoriety as a producer/remixer, with his first track "Paradox Dreams"©. It appeared on an album next to tracks by other well respected artists, such as Micro, Adam X, T-1000, Vicious Vic and Frankie Bones on the X-SIGHT RECORDS© compilation entitled "BELIEVE 96-97"© through BROOKLYN MUSIC LTD.© "Huggie" has also done remix work for PHATT PHUNK RECORDS© (Los Angeles) as well as FUNKED UP RECORDS (Texas). Two of his more recent tracks "Ali Sun"© and "Sunrise in Tikal"© were released on the IRIDIUM MUSIC© compilation "Higher Collective Consciousness"©. Huggieís next project will be an album titled ìJournal 3/28î which is dedicated to the passing of his mother on March 28th, 2002. "Huggie" had to take a break from DJ'ing and moved to Seattle to clear his mind and grieve for this huge loss. After a 3 year hibernation, this "Huggie" Bear has missed his love for spinning and producing. This album will contain a mixture of Genres ranging from Ambient, Trip Hop, House, Tribal Techno, Breaks, Acid and other progressive landscapes. This album will be a project that will define his love for Electronica and all of its beautiful genres. Thee-O DJ Thee-O of Los Angeles has always had a love for music. When he was a child at the tender age of 5, he began taking a portable record player with him at all times and entertained classmates and friends with the soundtracks of "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever". At the age of 13, with the help of his mother and aunt he obtained his first set of turntables and a mixer. Throughout high school he DJed at school dances and house parties where he honed his scratching skills. After he graduated High School in 1991 he was about to embark on training to be a opera singer but got sidetracked when he went to his first rave in early 1992. After that fateful night, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. It didn't take him that long. With his first gig, "Under the Kandyground" in March of 1992, he began building a reputation as one of L.A.'s leading dance DJs. Probably best known for his talented mixing and scratching skills and love for all things Electronic Music. His following continues to grow in the city of L.A. and beyond, with help from his numerous amount of mix tapes, CD's, MP3 Sets, original music production and untiring efforts for the scene he loves. He has been heralded as the most popular and hardworking DJ in Los Angeles. And that hardwork is paying off. In 1993 he started Biohazard Productions as collective of like minded DJ's that now consists of a dozen other DJ's of high caliber. In 1995 he threw his first event aptly titled "Tomorrowland". In 1996 he started writing for URB Magazine as a reviewer for Trance music. In 1997 he became part of the Balance Record Pool which is considered the best electronic dance pool in the country. In 1998 he released his first commercially available mix CD, "Skywalking" under the Base 9 label. In 1999 he was voted as one of the top 20 DJ's in online poll conducted by Raveworld.net. In the year 2000 he has spun at every major dance event that happened in Los Angeles (including Audiotistic, Electric Daisy Carnival, Jujubeats, Monster Massive and Nocturnal Wonderland). In October of 2000 he and his studio-partner Chris Arnold opened up Biohazard Studios, located inside the Til Dawn offices, right in the heart of Hollywood. In 2001 he released his first CD of original ambient and downtempo music under the name Reef Project and also became the Los Angeles representative in a new mixshow called Revolutions, on the satellite radio sevice known as XM Radio. In 2002 he became the first LA talent to join the ranks of Fate Management based in San Francisco. In 2003 he started his own show on XM Radio called Hazardous Radio. In 2005, he built the second version of the Biohazard Studios and created a digital label called Biohazard Digital that sells tracks on Beatport, Audiojelly, Release Records as well as other digital download stores. Currently, he is working in the studio producing tracks not only to be released on his own label but also working on tracks and remixes for other labels including System Recordings, Bit Records, Knob Records, Acute Recordings, Queep Organic Music, South Records, Reticent Recordings and 130 Recordings just to name a few. Look out for more productions to be dropping from the Biohazard Studios on many labels coming to you soon both digitally and on vinyl. Over the past years he has spun next to Outkast, Orbital, Underworld, BT, Judge Jules, The Orb, Paul Oakenfold, Moby, Aphex Twin, 808 State, Chemical Brothers, Mixmaster Morris, Blank & Jones, 2 Bad Mice, Carl Craig, Rabbit in the Moon, Juno Reactor, Dave Angel, Loop Guru, Westbam, X-Cabs, The Roots, Atomic Babies and many notable others. His talents have landed him residencies with Go Ventures, TeknoKlub, ROAM, Channel 36, 26c, and at Magic Wednesdays in Hollywood and has taken him to 3 countries, 30 states and over 60 cities. Soon he will be traveling abroad to even more locations to spread his sound. A Thee-O live set is something not to be missed. RaveOne.com put it best when it stated that, "Thee-O's greatest strength is that he is never weak. Some DJ's can tear off a great set on one night, then crap out on another. Thee-O oftentimes approaches greatness, but never falls into mediocrity" while The Rave Section at About.com proclaims: "Thee-O continually proves to be the LA techno/trance master." 14. In 1999, the artists Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan met by chance on a flight to Spain and recognized that they are on the same wavelength. Soon after that, records and productions were exchanged and slowly, the two determined to rough up the underground techno scene. Their first joint productions immediately made it into the record cases of well-known DJs and Laurent Garnier, Sander Kleinenberg or Deep Dish inquired the tracks for their mix compilations. After more than twenty productions for their own "Submission" label, they started something new with their new label "Sonic Society", moving more towards minimal productions. However, it wasn't long until people like Sven Väth, Loco Dice or M.A.N.D.Y. began supporting Pig&Dan productions. The highlight of their corporate career may have been the remix for "Underworld". Also last year, the Pig&Dan 12"es "On to the Beat" and "After Ibiza" on Cocoon Recordings caused a sensation and wherever the records were played, both the public as well as the DJs freaked out and wanted to know the name of the record. From that point on, it was only a question of time until the duo would do a longplayer on Cocoon Recordings. After Guy Gerber's longplay debut on Cocoon, it's now Pig&Dan's turn to release the next big thing in the Cocoon Recordings universe. In contrast to Guy Gerber, who, with "Late Bloomers", succeeded in covering the total bandwidth from House via Techno to Trance, Pig&Dan are moving more or less on one track – however they are following their path more consistently. Their electronic House sound – closer to Techno than to Guy Gerber's Deep House as regards content – is a perfect image of what is happening on the planet's dancefloors. Trippy and driving electronic beats which are never flamboyant are combined with filigree basslines, giant spherical spaces and weird sounds in long sophisticated arrangements: modern Minimal House with a good share of Techno. Pig&Dan prove to be masters of their trade, and with their productions, sound and style, remind of the perfection of artists like Guido Schneider or Anders Trentemøller, without ever losing their own handwriting. Despite the stringent concept of Electro House, their productions are applicable in a highly flexible way. Though the tracks suggest, by their driving character, to put them into Techno and House DJ sets, but also the friends of calmer sounds will have a lot of listening fun, because the productions never tend to sound aggressive, they rather manage to set free the really big emotions, sometimes reminding of the high times of Vladislav Delay's Luomo productions. Whereas in the last years, Delay used to be somehow more playful and harmonic, Pig&Dan reduce themselves on "Imagine" more to the essentials of current Techno productions and work more clearly on the elements that a modern dance track should have. The duo is operating on a very high level of production, from the first track to the last one on the record - one highlight chasing the other, and almost each track is succeed in bringing back the atmosphere of the last club night. This is where the sound of the Cocoon floors in Ibiza, Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Rome is transported directly to our iPods, stereos and cars. Pig&Dan seem to have lost their hitherto status as an insider's tip once and for all with that impressing debut album and prove that they are not only fantastic Djs remixers but can also create first-class productions. Check out -> Pig&Dan_Sept07Promo Guestlist available by clicking ::HeRe:: FREE B4 10:00/$15.00 after til 12:00

ILLICIT (myspace.com/arthurgalestian | arthurgalestian.com)Arthur Galestian (aka: DJ Illicit) was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. His involvement with music began at a very early age. Coming from a family where music has long been a tradition, his father hired instructors to train him in piano starting at the age of six. He studied mostly classical music, and through this, he gained his first experiences at performing music in front of audiences. At 19, Arthur's desire to share his large music collection with others drove him to pick up his first set of DJ equipment. Soon, he was being asked to spin at parties around Orange County and LA. It was also during this time that he began exposing himself to the Southern California dance scene. While working on completing his bachelor's degree, Arthur started hosting a weekly 3-hour radio show on Irvine's 88.9 FM entitled "The Division of Hardcore Samples" with hardcore DJ Jon Armado. Together, they showcased live DJ mixes of trance and happy hardcore to fans in Orange County. Arthur's ongoing wonder about the European trance scene pushed him to embark on a 10-month journey to finish his studies overseas, all while giving him a chance to explore the European continent. Studying at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, his dream to live in and travel around Europe at last became a reality. His experiences gave him an extensive knowledge of the dance music scene in Holland and other parts of Europe, which left a permanent mark on his views of how a dance scene should be. "When it comes to categorizing the types of music that I play, often times I find that creating categories only limits my creative boundaries. The simple, all-encompassing answer is 'trance,' but anyone that listens to my sets can hear tunes that are often times tough to categorize. As far as dance music in general, I really enjoy listening to the full spectrum: from dark, progressive house to the mellowest of trance and the harder, fiercer sounds of techno. I am very drawn to music that has the strength to evoke emotion, tells a story or paints a picture, and has the power to create energy. This is all pretty apparent from set to set. It's no wonder why I'm so captivated by it all." Arthur has performed at venues such as the Hollywood Arena, Spundae at Circus, The Standard, Leiden's Liberation Festivities in Holland, and Empire Ballroom at the 2006 Las Vegas Music Conference. He has also been featured as Guest DJ on Vancouver's CJSF 90.1FM and ETN.FM. Recent accomplishments include live broadcasts through collaborations with Orange Vibe and Giant in a joint effort to further expose electronic dance music to Orange County. Through this, he has worked alongside artists such as Armin van Buuren, Dubfire (of Deep Dish), Miss Nine, Matthew Dekay, and Paolo Mojo. Today, Arthur continues to DJ at various events and hosts "The Division of Hardcore Samples" every Thursday night from 10PM-12AM (PST) on KUCI 88.9 FM (kuci.org). Arthur continues to work hard at delivering fresh sounds every week on the radio show, in addition to developing several music projects. His immense musical passions continue to drive him to explore scattered places in a constant search for fresh sounds and adventure. Ultimately, it's the satisfaction of sharing oneself through music, and the response of a cheering crowd that makes all the efforts worthwhile. Guestlist available ::HERE::!!!
