  1. i post on di.fm a lot, a few months ago there was an uprising because the moderators were messing with people's post counts, well the ones with really high counts (over 10k). people get really defensive about their numbers, it was really funny. it actually caused a few people to quit using the forum.

  6. you should have taken a picture. just like if you see a real good mullet on vacation... If I had taken a single picture in the hotel I was staying at, I would've gotten pummelled, probably by several Americans. Trust me, there were a LOT of things I wanted to take pictures of there, but I like having my arms and legs in working order. John, yet another subtle hint..... ;D
  7. That was me!!! ;D ;D ;D
  8. When I was in Costa Rica there was a guy staying in my hotel that looked EXACTLY like Mr. Hung. What a douchebag.

    The Masters

I caught the last couple of holes yesterday. It's amazing how these guys can perform under the pressure. It's like fuel.

    Costa Rica

Alright alright alright! First off, all of the details will have to remain in Costa Rica. :-X Three nights is not long enough to be there. So much to see and do, next time will be much longer. The people there are incredible. Very welcoming, very laid-back. I think that comes from the fact that their entire economy is based on tourism, so they welcome visitors with open arms. I went with two friends of mine who know Spanish fluently, that helped a lot. I had thought most people there spoke English, but most don't. So having translators was cool. We had two full days (got there Thursday night, left Sunday morning), 1st day went to a volcano about 3 hours away from San Jose. It was pretty cool, I'd never seen a volcano before. 2nd day we went over to Jaco Beach, about 3 hours away also. We rented a fishing charter, and on the way out (about 3 miles offshore) the boat died. Our "captain" (loosely-fitting word) had no idea how to fix it. Apparently, he came to Costa Rica 20 years ago from Canada (eh?) on vacation, and never went back. Well, our captain didn't know how to fix his boat. The batteries died, and we were floating around, trying to call other boats in the area. The other boats thought this was funny, and no one wanted to come to our rescue. After about an hour, one of my friends told el capitan that he's going to fix the boat. And he did. Back to shore we went, fish-free. We got our money back, so that was cool. Driving from point A to point B was a big highlight. The roads twist and wind up and down mountains, really beautiful. Our nights were spent in San Jose. This past week was holy week, so no alcohol was allowed to be sold. Fortunately the mini-bar in our hotel rooms were stocked daily, so we were able to booze it up plenty. And since everything in the city was closed, there was nowhere to go, other than our hotel. It was cool, though, cause there was a bar/casino downstairs. Pretty funny sight, a bunch of people in a bar drinking bottled water and soda. We had a great time, it's easy why people go there and never come back. "Pura vida" is some kind of national slogan, and it shows that everyone there embraces that.

  13. Nah, the best was the comparison between the good and the dark sides of the force... The good side...Yoda....wanted to explore and conquer inner space The dark side....Darth Vader....wanted to conquer outer space Pretty far out, man.

  15. I wonder if it was my sig on tiesto.com??? There's a good chance...but I think it had something to do with a review. And the review was linked back to cooljunkie. Might've been yours, no one else has cooljunkie on their sig @ Tiesto.com!!! If so, then thanks!!!!!!! ;D It was the Tiesto interview from last May. Must have been because they put that on and it was the only Cooljunkie reference on the site. That's awesome that it got you here. They actually sent me a PM the other day, they saw the latest Tiesto review from the recent event at Space, and put that up as well--- nice to see that people across the globe are seeing CJ content! Yeah, man, that was a great review. Wish I had gone that night... Oh well, there's always next time!

Alright, I'm leaving tomorrow, everyone wish me luck. Don't be surprised if I don't come back. Having a slight documentation-location problem, but I think that'll be taken care of. If I do make it back, I'll have a helluva tan and a thousand stories. ;D ;D ;D
