i saw tool in tallahassee a couple of years back, weird show, yeah, but it was the most amazing concert i've ever been to. maynard stayed in the back of the stage by the drummer and faced away from the crowd the whole night. basically he stared at the giant wall behind him the whole concert. but that's tool, and i love em for it. my favorite band, by far. ;D

i saw deep dish at a club called "on broadway". nice club, but i hear it's predominantly hip hop unless there's a special event, but look into it. great bar scene there in downtown and also in pacific beach (pb)
