    MOST of the time, the people can go either way. Either they're 18 and been going to clubs on 18 nights since they were 14, or they've known managers/owners/door/etc. Or they've never been in a club, act like an idiot, get g'd up, drunk off their ass, and cause problems.

    Case: This kid was all over my girl at Avalon on friday. I'm dancing right in front of her, and he kept going up and talking to her, grabbing her leg. The kid couldn't have been more than 17 years old running his mouth in her ear. She told me his pickup line was, "What kind of car do you drive, I drive a Mercedes CLK, White." She laughed at him. I was in too good of a mood to start anything with the kid. I knew she was going home with me that night anyway. Even I got grabbed from a little italian girl going to the bathroom past the Chapel....More or less I was groped by this girl saying, "Let's get a drink." I told her I took some stuff and I can't drink. She gave me a look and then told me to fuck off cuz I denied her...

    Go to the club for the music, not to meet your future girlfriend/boyfriend.

    Dude, I'm 25 and go out to bars and clubs all the time both 18+ and not. Under 21 year olds HARDLY have a monopoly on being retarded assholes. At least if it's a 17 year old pulling some shit with your girl you can easily beat the shit out of him as opposed to some neanderthal bouncer type (that is assuming you're not also one of those types which I'm not). Why all the hate for anyone who's under 21? They're not all automatically assholes.

    hahaha it said lollypopss... hrmmmm no alohol and is servin smart water and redbull...Hrmmmmmm... I think its the city tryin to make somemore cash and gettin kidss hooked early.

    No alcohol? Only red bull and water? I guess since theres' no alcohol there nobody will be eating E pills or anything like that. No they would never do that... Hahah. There are probably more drugs in there than a regular club!

    I don't see it as a problem, but you know the real cool teenagers are able to get into the real clubs anyway ;) ... who do not have friends (or know of people) who attended the real places (think Palladium, Garage, Twilo, Vinyl, ... ) when they were 16 or so.

    Hmmm.. Is there a way to get a girl who's actually 18 but looks more like 25 (seriously! & very hot!) into some "real" clubs without ID? If so how? We're not from NYC so we don't know the bouncers and shit...

    Whats up man!

    I have been around the block a few times so I think I can help you out.

    Philly is a good place to be 18. There are a couple clubs that you would probably like. Check out the Photo gallery. It showcases a bunch of the clubs in philly. As far as 18+ goes, Shampoo and **sometimes** Emerald City would be the place for you. They play lots of Electronic Music. Trance, House, Prog. Its all there. Good stuff. A couple nights I would suggest would be SMILE thursdays at shampoo. Thats a good night to go there. Also, Saturdays at shampoo are good. Emerald City usually has something good going on Fridays or Saturdays. I would check out their websites.

    Those would be my 2 pics for you in Philly. As far as DC goes.... In my mind, there is only 1 club. Club NATIONS in DC. They have SickkKKKK events. Definately wanna check that out. www.buzzlife.com . Baltimore has a few clubs but most of them are 21+. Pain in the ass when you are younger. But in philly you could also check out Transit or Deco. They play techno but the # of people there is way smaller compared to other venues. If you got anymore questions man, lemme know. And welcome to clubplanet.com.

    Thanks for all the info. Actually I know all about shampoo and emeraldcity. Trying ot find a new scene for a friend of mine that's under age and sick of those places. They're fun but when that's the only place you ever go to every weekend it wears thin. I heard about club nations and that definitely looks cool. I wasn't aware Deco and Transit were 18+. Is that every night or only select nights? Thanks.

    well you cant do anything in AC if your under 21 and i mean anything. philly u can hit up shampoo on sundays i think and sometimes emrald city is 18 and up. and for central jersey hit up platinum. they promote it as 21 and up but if your on the guestlist u can get in. haha.

    need some help here. I recently started dating a girl under 21 and I'm 25. I have _NO_ clue what the hell to do with her and where to take as obviously I haven't thought about needing to be over 21 to do stuff in 4 years.

    Please let me know if you know any:

    Clubs that let you in if you're over 17 or over 18?

    Other points of interest for a weekend night in the city that wouldn't require you to be 21 (anything)?

    Any interesting bars or clubs that just simply don't card. I'll throw one out, Chris' Jazz Cafe on Sansom near center city has never carded in my expirience.
