The laser at velvet and the laser at Joe Blacks are totally different. the laser at joe Blacks costs $60 grand and needs federal agencies notification prior to use. Thats why there were signs "CAUTION LASER IN USE" all around the venue. Come down this weekend and check it out.

Koji and Up or on the Rocks are having a Halloween party tonight. I think its house music at Koji and UOOTR has mainstream.

ok.. I have no idea what 90 feet is.. 40 feet sounds more like it. guys I don't make rounds at Home Depot twice a week as you do. All I know is that this place is GIGANTIC and BEAUTIFUL. Anyone and everyone can take a tour of it. I walked in there last friday and the manager was cool enough to show me around. I was blown away on how massssive this place is! If the same people are doing sound as the hilton it will be massive because the sound at the pete tha zouk party was hugeeeeeeee. I'm just glad to see more new venues open up. personally I was getting sick of the same ol' stuff.

No. the Grand opening is for their Nightclub space (1300 capacity) 90ft ceilings..two floors. Think more limelight. This place is enormous. It used to be the Connecticut Trust Bank. The place is gorgeous. The irish pub/restaurant wraps around the main nightclub room.

lol! This topic can go on and on. I do have to disagree with you on the fact that Deep Dish was advertised correctly. It wasn't. I have seen SHARAM headlining in nightclubs all over the World as SHARAM and Not DEEP DISHfeaturing Sharam LOL! I mean comeon. I know about 10 people who actually thought they had BOTH guys from Deep Dish. Why couldnt it simply be SHARAM of Deep Dish. Its all how you put it. The way I see it is that there are people trying to build the house music scene here in Hartford by throwing one of a kind parties that have never been before in Connecticut. About the yacht party, Hartford Advocate wrote an article on it which was extremely positive. They even mentioned the fact that everyone was having a great time and how fashionable and trendy the event was. I saw the pictures as well and they were amazing! Who the fuck cares on Yacht or a Riverboat. Bottom line is that the event was excellent. The Hartford Business journal wrote a great piece on it for god's sake! So lets just move on. will we. There should be good credit given to every promoter because doing parties with this kind of production is not easy. Not just bashing them everytime they do an event. Its so sad that there are so many haters out here that its impossible to get the scene forward. This event with Austin Leeds is very unique. I HAVE seen major DJs like Sasha and even Roger Sanchez in Puerto Rico where they DJed at the HILTON HOTEL! yes folks this has been done and with the right production they are much better than some of the parties I have been to in South Beach. We have a Great friggin end of the month coming. Lets Enjoy it. Give everyone credit for what they deserve. Austin Leeds here I come!!
