  1. Hey Guys, Im moving to Philly from NY in a few weeks and just would like to know if there are any good resources online or any where to find whats going on in the philly electronic scene - D&B, House, Techno - its all good to me. Would love some feedback.
  2. I just saw the results - what the hell???????? I havent heard of half of those DJ's - seriously what a joke. Who is voting? That magazine poll has ruined booking of DJ's - Christopher Lawrence 'ranked' higher than Carl Cox???? What the hell! I am completely confused. The whole notion of giving DJ's a 'ranking' is soooooooooo freakin' lame I cant even begin to explain. There are so many FANTASTIC DJ's in the world who could kick the crap out of 80% of these people on the list but will never get the chance to because most promoters don't know the difference between Epic Trance and Atmospheric Jungle - so this list is made to be way too important. This list is VERY bad for electronic music and is totally over shadowing new talent and producers who can't get a break. I am just thoroughly disappointed.

  6. Hey Everybody, Just wanted to post and just shed some more light on one of my favorite DJ's - Misstress Barbara. She has been in the scene for as long as I can remember and even though the DJ Mag polling has nothing to do with the true skill and popularity worldwide of an artist - alot of club owners and promoters use it as a gauge to book DJ's. If you dig Misstress Barbara - what she has done for Techno, Electro and House - female DJ's and the positive pushing of electronic music please cast your vote - she definitely deserves all the career changing oppurtunities that go along with the poll: http://www.djmag.com/top100 Regards, Bird
