    Ok so the boys that own VIP REcords in freehold are having an xmas party this friday.

    They did one this past saturday and it was pretty hot

    Live djs, art work being made in store (scultptures - paintings - and hand paitned tshirts and stuff)

    this friday they are doing it again with drinks served and hore "D" vores lol

    u just gotta love this pic though

    Enjoy the ride of the new stations there buddy

    its a HUNGRY beast you need to feed 24-7

    yesterday mine was hacked

    i just spent the last 30 hours working on it to rebuild

    New layout - community - functions - etc

    I guess some jerk hacked in to see if he can get some unlimited supply of mp3s or something

    Never knowing the music isnt even on that server

    ....jerk

    my frineds and i were the first ones to walk into the big room saturday night.

    The wait outside online was alittle worrieing because we thought we'd get in at 11 but things still needed to be worked out.

    No prob. we went in around midnight.

    Minimal music playing from dj..................i have the openers name around here somewhere...........

    Took a few pics of him.

    He was testing out the system with some BIG ROOM music.

    He was on point 100% it Angel stepped in.

    The energy in the room was crazy.

    Room was kinda slow in the beging but thats common for NYC.

    ARound 1am i was upstairs at the bar talkin to

    BARTENDER ONE = WILL

    and MARTENDE TWO = Orvel

    Thanks for the strong drinks boys.

    I have to say this was one of thebest times and most inexpencive nights in NYC drinking, drinving, parking i had all year!

    well the stereo on 29th is a hip hop commercial music venue..........

    our stereo which is actually copyrighted is the sister club to the DANCE MUSIC CLUB up in montreal.

    that plus the one Distort is talkin about is a REALLY good one hahaha

  22. How NY City wants to protect its nightlife goers

    This is related to a topic here on the NY boards called

    NYC Clubs next to be shut down?

    There’s a couple things that came our of the city meeting regarding the NYC nightlife issue and where the clubs are failing.

    They derived (from what was broadcast in TV news), that its mainly the door personnel who aren’t doing their jobs.

    Not only because they aren’t really caring to follow the basic steps to keep under aged people out and pat-down/search people at entry,

    but it was also said they the staff is completely NOT trained for this method of "weeding"

    So the city has passed a law to venue owners stating the followings"

    (I’m working off memory of TV from late Monday night so bare with me here)

    1) Bouncers and official staff are to be hired from OUTSIDE outfits.

    2) All persons, regardless of dress, physical condition, or religious beliefs is to be physically searched in a publicly respectful manor by TRAINED personnel

    3) ALL venues must have working , security cameras installed at ALL entrances / exist of the building, including in and outside these particular doorways.

    4) When paraphernalia (spelling) is found on a person, entry to the venue is to be halted completely until the person(s) are escorted away from the property by the hired security staff. Entries will remain halted until the persons are completely clear of premises.

    5) COMPLETELY ALL venues MUST have the latest technology in license scanning machines located at the street level entrance & an additional machine located inside the main drinking area (main bar i suppose for double checking just incase)

    These are just a few of the things i remember from the city officials / council meeting.

    Im sure there was plenty more but you’ll have to find that list which im sure is posted in some obscure location in a place none of us have known existed.

    Hope that helps clear things up but NO...... NYC Police will not be forcing the shut down of NYC nightclubs.

    In fact that was a specific point this lady said.

    (Loosely quoted) We are not directing these actions to remove the "nightlife " from New York City. This is merely a way to help safeguard the good apples from the bad ones.

    Personally i like all this, i mean look at the terrorist actions taken against us lately. Why should we just be walking around aimlessly w/o having some sense of known comfort?

    What’s your opinion? Because as i see it, these measures also help us from becoming easier victims (again)
