I know that by now you must've heard of Consequence. He's on Kanye's GOOD Music label. The funny thing about him, is that his story is really similiar to that of Kanye's. Back in the day he used to be on the Hip-Hop scene like Kanye. He used to roll with Tribe. From there he rocked the underground scene. I haven't heard any of his underground stuff, but from what I hear, he was NICE. I've heard his recent stuff and liked it. His album Dont Quit Your Day Job just came out this week on March 6th. If you havent had a chance to hear anything off of the album go to his myspace page (www.myspace.com/constothequence) he has some of his songs and videos on there.

I just ran across this reggae artist named Collie Buddz. I didn't really listen to a lot of reggae outside of Bob Marley, but I'm really liking him. In this article I was reading about him, they said that he integrates hip-hop into his music. Maybe that's why I like him so much... I dunno. Check out the song and let me know what you think. right now i am listening to 2 much. they are a new group 4 young guys. they remind me of immature (from back in the day) a little bit. it's just probably their age. they have some songs on their myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/2muchfans). people also compare them to b2k. i guess they would be closer to the latter, because of their age 15-17. but they still have a younger sound. go and listen to their songs (i like their song "can i be the one") and you'll see what i mean.

I know that by now you've heard of Shareefa!!! Her song "Need a Boss" is like one of the hottest songs I've heard from a new female R&B artist. She came out with that song like, "I'm here!" The video for that is out, featuring Ludacris. He still has braids in her video. She also has a new single out called "Cry No More." This song is basically about a relationship ending before you may have been ready for it to end. How you may sit around crying and regretting, then one day you have to just be like, "I'm not gone "Cry No More." Her album Point of No Return comes out Tuesday, October 24th, and from the looks of things, it'll be worth getting.

So recently Usher has created a record label and started producing music. His new group is called One Chance. I'm sure you've heard of them. Their single right now is called "Look At Her" it is featuring Fabo from D4L. That's what I am listening to right now. I was going to post this under the "what you're listening to" thread, but I had a whole story to tell. One Chance is a male R&B group with a strong sound and a LOT of potential, especially in an industry where no one can sing anymore. They have an album coming out on October 31 called Private. I would suggest indulging in a song off the album called "So Emotional." In that song, you can really hear their vocal talent.
