T.Tauri Bio:
T. Tauri began DJing and producing music in Washington DC in the early 90s before relocating to New York City, where he was based for many years, until moving not long ago to the purple soil of Minneapolis. His work has spanned a variety of genres and eras, from deep house to hip-hop to techno. He is best known for his trip-hop crossover classic "Joy To The World" on Hardkiss Records (notably chosen by John Digweed as an all-time favorite on his Azuli "Choice" CD). Additionally, T. Tauri has recorded collaborations with Cielo visionary Nicolas Matar, Jerome Sydenham and Dennis Ferrer, and Pacha Ibiza/Cielo resident Willie Graff. He has released tracks on Wave Music and Out Of Orbit, and remixed tracks for DJ Cosmo's Bitches Brew label as well as for Bah Samba with Alice Russell. He is a member of the international Beard Science edits collective. He has DJed with Derrick May, Seamus Haji, and DJ Pippi, among others, and he has been an annual guest at Francois K's Deep Space night for the last six years.
