  2. Noel Sanger "Long Way Down" In his System Recordings debut, "Long Way Down," Noel Sanger continues the winning streak begun last year with the launch of his Dissident Music imprint, releases on labels such as Armada, Baroque, and Curvve, and remixes for such global dance luminaries as Lustral and the Flash Brothers. In 2007, Noel's productions have enjoyed support from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Matt Darey, Markus Schulz, Marco V, Roger Sanchez, Andy Moor, Jody Wisternoff, and many more, while his DJ schedule took him throughout North America numerous times and even across the Atlantic. "Long Way Down" is a tough progressive bit of disco-tinged electro overlaid with an emotional and memorable vocal. Tight house beats provide the foundation upon which retro-synths and pad stabs work their dancefloor magic, propelled by booming bass and clever edits. Noel's Dirty Mixes follow the same formula with just a touch more heft in the beats and a more solid electro feel, leaving the melodic bits out till the end. "Long Way Down" is yet another winning groover in the growing Sanger legacy, destined to be rocking the world's dancefloors for some time to come! www.myspace.com/noelsanger
  3. The second release from Noel Sanger's Dissident Music imprint comes from Matt Cerf and Shawn Mitiska, operating this time under their new Flux Capacitor alias. Matt and Shawn (along with vocalist Jaren) have had an amazing 2007, with releases on Baroque, Curvve, Armada, Alter Ego, Somatic Sense, S2, and more, with repeated assaults on the Dutch and UK dance charts, and support from every A-list DJ you can name. Their Dissident debut brings a perfect close to a great year for the duo with catchy melodies, bouncy beats and a futuristic yet reminiscent 1980's vibe. On the remixes, label-head Noel Sanger follows up his acclaimed "Natural Perfection" release (Dissident 001) with another winner, this time going for a more peak time, progressive electro-trance workout with clever edits, lots of drive and all the melodic content of the original. Remixes are forthcoming from Bart Van Wissen and Interplay (Johan Vermeulen). www.myspace.com/dissidentmusic001 Selected thoughts from selected thinkers: Sander Kleinenberg- "nice work from noel " Miika Kuisma, Subtraxx/Danceteria Finland- "Sounds like a Monster to me!" Noel's unique sound carried him from Las Vegas to NYC, Salt Lake to Miami, DC to Phoenix and numerous others, and into the Carribean Sea onboard the super-fabulous Solar Sessions Cruise. Tour stops are still to come in Seattle, San Diego, and Los Angeles before Summer 2007 gives way to Autumn. With remixes still to come this year on Cloudbreak and Curvve Recordings, more original releases signed to System Recordings and the long-awaited launch of Noel's Label, Dissident Music, this Fall is shaping up to be even hotter than the Summer! The second single from Markus Schulz' "Progression" CD is his collaboration with Noel Sanger and Dauby, entitled "Perfect". The original mix has seen support from Armin Van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk, and with Dauby's heavenly vocals and remixes from Agnelli and Nelson and Germany's new man-of-the-moment, Jerome Isma-Ae, it's clearly set to be the international smash it was destined to be: you may recall "Perfect" as a Noel Sanger production from a couple of years ago that was never released and never really got it's legs. Noel invited Markus to take a stab at it, and take it to it's next level- and he has- while still retaining the original magic of the tune. All involved are excited at the upcoming release! Noel's new label, Dissident Music, launches this fall, with releases from Perfecto's Kenneth Thomas, Cerf and Mitiska, Noel Sanger, Dauby and many more. The Dissident Music Official Label Launch Party will take over Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas on October 5th, 2007 as the first afterhours of the Billboard Dance Summit/ Vegas Music Experience. If you are within driving or flying distance, this is a party not to be missed, with sets from Air Hustlers (Kenneth Thomas/Noel Sanger), Andy Moor, Jimmy Van M, a Live PA from Cerf, Mitiska and Jaren, and many more incredible DJ's. The first release on Dissident will drop sometime in October. On the production side, Noel is in high gear, having just signed two new originals to NYC's System Recordings! "Long Way Down" and "What Are You Looking For" will see release dates sometime around the start of 2008. He has just begun work on a remix for Curvve Recordings, and is finishing another for new label Cloudbreak Recordings. He also finally wrapped up production on his remix of Solar Session's Mastermind Jonathan Allyn's "Luminate", just in time for Solar Sessions; it was the last tune played on the last night of the cruise and was responsible for seas of smiles, cheers and hands in the air! The tune that refuses to die, "Nothing", also on Curvve Recordings, is out yet again. This time the remix duties fall to Chicago up-n-comer Darin Epsilon, and the results, again, are incredible. Says Noel, "Darin's a great new talent with a bright future, and I love what he did with the mix!" Noel's remixes for Sir Ivan, aka The Peaceman, finally hit the digital retail world in August and the response has been stellar! It's gone to Billboard and the Noel Sanger Dub looks set to rock it's way up the Club Play Chart. Also going to Billboard this fall are Noel's mixes of the Costarz (Produced by Noel and Ellis Miah) hit "Promise Her Anything". And yes, it's a cover of Tom Jones, and it totally works! More on the commercial side, but a good tune is a good tune, innit? Upcoming dates: Catch Noel on tour near you soon! 9. Noel Sanger:: Update:: August 2007 As the summer pushes on, the only things hotter than the midday sun are the beats fueling the dancefloors of the world. Noel Sanger is only adding by degrees, as his newest productions have seen Support in the last 2 weeks alone from the world's number one DJ, Paul Van Dyk on his SoundGarden radio show, and from Matt Darey on Nocturnal, the world's most listened to dance radio program. The last two weeks have seen triumphant sets from Noel in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Omaha, and the well-beyond-expectations response to the debut DJ performance of Air Hustlers (Noel and Perfecto protege, Kenneth Thomas) in front of a crowd more than a thousand strong on the shore of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Anyone lamenting dance music's supposed demise would do well to take a second look at events large and small happening all around the world. It's only getting better... Noel is back in the studio full-force after a relatively quiet period, having worked on various non-dancefloor and commercial projects and devoting time to personal pursuits. Emerging next will be a remix for NYC's Zach Roth and his new imprint, Cloudbreak Recordings, followed by the second and long-awaited single from Air Hustlers. Two new original tunes are on deck as well, one of which is receiving extremely early support from Matt Darey. More genre-bending and floor-wrecking insanity transmitting soon. Noel's long-overdue label launch is right around the corner, with a first release tentatively scheduled for late September 2007. It's called Dissident Music, aptly named for Noel's consistently nonconformist musical attitude. The door is open now for submissions and demo reels for remix consideration, and all correspondence and links can be sent to Noel at [email protected] These are the last days to reserve your room on 2007's best event: Solar Sessions! This 5 night, dance-themed cruise departs Fort Lauderdale on Royal Carribean's "Enchantment of the Seas", and includes DJ's Markus Schulz, Noel Sanger, Nicholas Bennison, Shawn Rudnick, Jonathan Allyn, and many more. Days and nights will be spent dancing poolside, in the ships nightclubs and on the beaches of Jamaica and Grand Cayman, and listening to some of the best that the world of music has to offer! A launch party with Solar Sessions DJ's is planned for Friday, August 31, in a yet to be determined Miami venue... Stay tuned... A new Noel Sanger mix CD and a weekly radio show are in the works... more details will soon follow, look for an announcement next month. Noel's guest set on Vonyc Sessions last week met with great acclaim, and will be available soon for download. 10. Noel Sanger July 2007 Update

Noel Sanger:: Update:: July 2007 At the midpoint of of 2007, it's clear that this is shaping up to be one of Noel's best yet! With remixes so far this year for artists such as the Flash Brothers and Lustral, original productions on labels like Armada, Baroque and Curvve, and DJ Support from the likes of Judge Jules on BBC Radio One, Armin Van Buuren on A State of Trance, Matt Darey on Nocturnal, Markus Schulz on Global DJ Broadcast and innumerable plays at clubs and festivals around the world, not to mention increased touring and Noel's first bookings in Europe, the first half of 2007 has only laid the groundwork for the supernova yet to unfold in the second half. Markus Schulz "Progression" CD releases on Armada, it's his second artist album, and it prominently features Markus' collaboration with Noel Sanger and Dauby, entitled "Perfect". It's slated to release as the second single from the critically-acclaimed CD. Some of you may recall "Perfect" as a Noel Sanger production from a couple of years ago that was never released and never quite fulfilled its' sonic potential. After tinkering with it for 2 years on and off, Noel invited Markus to take a stab at it, and take it to it's next level- and he has- while still retaining the original magic of the tune. It was an obvious choice to include it on Markus' outstanding new album. Dissident Music, Noel's long-planned label imprint is launching this summer, with a first release tentatively scheduled for September 2007. Not merely a vehicle for Noel's own productions, Dissident will feature releases from some of the hottest new names in Dance Music and some well-known favorites. A label launch tour is in the works, starting in Fall 07. Look for it at your favorite digital retailers and thank you in advance for your support! A new Noel Sanger mix CD and a weekly radio show are in the works... more details will soon follow, look for an announcement next month. Noel's recent set for Clubxsession Radioshow in France and Belgium will be posted soon as well, and a Spring promo mix is available for download on Noel's artist page at www.blush-tonic.com. Upcoming dates: Catch Noel on tour near you soon! 11. Here is an update from my good friend Noel. Hi there, hello, buenos dias, greetings and salutations, and so on... With summer almost here, I thought i should send a quick shout out to you guys to keep you up to date and to thank you once again for your support. I never cease to be amazed at how blessed I am to get to do what I do, and am thankful for every opportunity to come to your city and get absolutely mental with so many absolutely great people. So, here's what's up... Blushtonic Bookings... It's a brand new agency, and it's my new agency. Founded in 2007 by former Yoshitoshi label manager Stefania Yanachkov, it turns out to be the perfect fit for me after a few years of self-booking. Check out the roster at www.blush-tonic.com, and email [email protected] for any and all inquiries. I'm happy to be on board; now I can get back to making music! =) Solar Sessions Cruise... From Atlanta-based Skyline Destinations comes this exciting event from September 1-6, on Royal Caribbean's "Enchantment of the Seas". Sailing from Miami, it will also include a launch party in downtown Miami, and feature DJ's including Markus Schulz, Nicholas Bennison, Shawn Rudnick and myself. Check out www.skylinedestinations.com for more info! European tour dates... Most people are surprised when I tell them that I have never DJ'ed in Europe, yet this will be my first time, and several more visits are in the works before the year's end. On Friday, June 15th I'll play the Escape Club in Sofia, Bulgaria, and then fly to Helsinki, Finland for an afterhours/morning party with my good friend Miika Kuisma. With any luck, Miika and I will get some time in the studio while I am there, so stay tuned... New releases... On the heels of my remix of the Flash Brother's massive "Stay" (Armada), Miika Kuisma's "Awakening" (Baroque), and my own "Nothing" (Curvve), my remix of "Because of You" by chart-toppers Lustral is set to release on Baroque this month. More originals are in the final stages, and remixes of Jonathan Allyn's "Illuminate" and the debut release from NYC's Cloudbreak Recordings are set to make the rounds. For those who asked: Yes- I did work on some of the stuff on Tiesto's new CD, as well as some that didn't make the cut, apparently. No, I'm not credited. And as much as the tracks changed in the 15 months between my last session in LA and the release of the CD, I reckon that's OK. It doesn't sound like anything I was involved in survived the endless revisions, and I was, after all, just programming. Thanks to all who asked. As always, I thank you and send my best. See you soon on a dancefloor, somewhere. =) Noel Upcoming dates: June 15- Escape, Sofia, Bulgaria June 16- Helsinki Finland July 3 Karu and Y, Miami July 21-Pioneer Daze, Salt Lake City July 26- Las Vegas (TBC) July/August Love, NYC (date TBA) Sept 1-6 Solar Sessions Cruise, Royal Carribean DJ SETS: http://www.hybridized.org/sets/?artist=11
