heretic909 Posted April 21 Report Share Posted April 21 Don't use the mic input. Use the line in input. If you just want to make a wav file, you could use the sound recorder program that should be pre-installed if you're using a PC. If you want to be able to edit it by normalizing it or compressing it or whatever, you'd need some software like SoundForge or something. You can burn the wav file to cd if that's what you want to do, and there's plenty of free mp3 encoders out there if you want to make an mp3 out of it.
