FlipsSOE
It's wednesday and finally recovering from what was arguably our most pleasing event ever, BOO 6. After months of strategically planning on how to make an event of this magnitude successful, we saw our worst nightmares coming true as strong gusting winds and rain almost cancelled BOO. After working dilligently for three days setting up the tents, fencing, sound, lights, visuals and all production involved, a 45 minute storm almost forced us to pull the plug on something we had been working so hard on. Luckily, with some last minute hustling, minor adjustments, and great help from our friends, we were able to salvage the party. What took three days to put together, a group of 35 friends along with staging, light, sound and tent companies working overtime; we did in an increcible 15 hours! We feel we still put on a great party for the 10,000+ who ventured from all across the country to be part of something special. This saturday, we feel we proved that there is still plenty of life left in this scene, and that there in still room to grow. You can be sure that Stuck On Earth will be in the forefront of that advancement as long as we keep receiving the full support of the people. Thanks to everyone who came out to BOO 6, and our most sincerest thanks to our friends who came out and helped salvage the party( the long island boys, jersey and everyone else). We could not have not it without all of you. See everyone at "One Nation 2" July 3rd.Our sincerest thank you'sJeff, Chris, Dana, Flips and the SOE family.ps. how does everyone feel about rabbit in the moon? FlipsSOE
No. It's a very serious question. Jeff and I saw them down in New Orleans back in February and were greatly impressed with they're on stage act and what not, and since its been nearly three years since they're last NYC appearance, we're considering bringing them back. What we want to know is this; is there a huge fan base for rabbit in the moon in the NYC area?
jimk29
absolutely... I can think of about 30 people off hand that would want to go. Last time I saw them was 6th Element... they are amazing.
