It wasn't *that* painful. I have two cartilege piercings in my ear that were MUCH more painful to get and that also took a lot longer to heal. That's the same reason why I don't have my nipple rings anymore. It was kind of a dumb reason to take them all out, but it doesn't really matter- I guess some people derive pleasure from them but they didn't do anything for me except serve as aesthetic adornments.
