The problem with Israel not letting in the UN team is that it makes them look guilty. However, it would be an even bigger problem if the UN brands them guilty, and no matter how remote that possibility may be, it would screw things up so bad that they don't want to risk it. Not letting in the UN is probably the right thing. If the UN says there was a massacre, it gives Palestinians reason to attack more because their people were slaughtered. If they say there wasn't a massacre, it gives Palestinians a reason to attack more because they'll feel the rest of the world doesn't take them seriously. Palestine should be pushing for it, they have nothing to lose if the UN report comes out against them, and everything to gain if it comes out in their favor. However, no matter the result it would probably perpetuate even more violence, and like I already said, that's not the goal of either side, even if it's the goal of some random individuals who fuck everything up for everyone else.And just a stupid thought, but did anyone notice how small scale this is compared to what's going on in Zaire or Rwanda? Doesn't have as much to do with the media as just the loud interest groups for both sides here in the US, but the stuff that's going on in the West Bank is cheese fries compared what goes on elsewhere in the world with less resources we can exploit. WTFWe give them 8 million a DAY..8 Million...Kids in NYC schools dont have textbooks but we are giving the Jews 8 MILLION A DAY to build a super miliatary and kill inocent people?And what do we get for that 8 million a day which is 3 billion a year? Hell, the NYC education system has a budget of $1.5 billion. Is that money being put to good use?
