yup, there is a gavin..i dont think hes related to the other 2 hardkisses

yes, i believe all three are brothers. i last saw scott and rob hardkiss when they opened for the chemical brothers out here in l.a. somewhere between '96 and '98... they played a remix of elton john's "rocket man" that i'll never forget. i have found a few remixes of "rocket man" out there, but never the one i heard that night.

Since the question was asked, I thought i'd post this cd review i found of gavin hardkiss:

I got this cd yesterday from jeff monroe, so i could play it on

tonights

global house radio show. Gavin will be calling in for an interview. I

was

never too familiar with his work before, although ive seen his name on

many

flyers, and was quite interested in hearing this cd. I REALLY like it

alot.

Its a collection of 11 all original tunes produced by gavin. Alot of

them

have a breakbeat feel to them. cowbell and tamborine sounds ring

through. He

pushes the "sundrenched" feel making al the tracks come across very

"uplifting and emotional". At some ponts, it reminds me of the

"survivor"

them, with island and tribal sounds coming off as inspiring. The

producing

is crystal clear. Some of hte break beat loops emulate those in old

school

breaks, but were redone to come off very clear with todays production

equipment. THe first single "Party people" was released last july to 20

djs

to promote unity in the scene. I give the album an 8, and look forward

to

hopefully picking it up on vinyl.

To hear this entire cd, along with the live interview, tune in to

Global

Dance Radio this evening from 6-8pm. Also appearing live friday at

Lemur

Lounge, casablanca in alexandria.
