No more Kleen, but now there's Metric!

Kleen has ended, but now Thursdays are Metric. What's the point to a name change like that? Here's the info i got on it:

Leni K

Since 1994 Leni has been one of only 150 DJ's in the country to receive

the

honor of being named a weekly Billboard Reporter for the National Club

Chart. For the past 7 years at TheSpot Leni has been instrumental in

introducing

cutting edge dance music to the masses. In 1997, in a natural extension

of

Leni's DJ skills, he along with DJ Shawn Q joined forces to form the

DJ/Production

duo "The Q & K Session". Leni's sound can only be described as a dark

hybrid of driving progressive house, tribal and trance. Please join us

Kumeleon

(Moby's) Baltimore

Kumeleon has gone through many changes in his DJ'ing career along with

spinning

almost every style of dance music. Tonight we bring you Kumeleon, or

better known

as DJ Royal T from back in the day. You may have heard him live on the

air on

Friday and Saturday nights on 92Q or V103 or at any of the primetime

clubs of that era.

Kumeleon has since refined his crowd moving, scratch influenced sets to

tribal and hard

house. Come out and see one of the greatest Baltimore local DJs of our

time live in

the mainroom at TRUST!

Rogers

(Catalyst DC) Washington, DC

Matt Rogers from Catalyst_DC is a longtime veteran of DC's vibrant drum

and

bass scene. Matt and his partner, Freefall cut their teeth at the early

2Tuff Urban Space events, where they have performed alongside artists

such

as Matrix, Dieselboy, Sage and many others. Matt was a resident at the

weekly, Epidemic at Bar Nun where he hosted some of the areas finest

drum

and bass talent and was one of the originating members of the DnB

weekly Act

Your Age in D.C... While you might have seen him before at Buzz, The

Edge,

The Paradox, The Spot, or any other major venue in the area, expect

only the

heaviest dubplate pressure for this special appearance here in

Baltimore at

This week we decided to put two of Baltimore finest together in there

tagteam performance. These two have never met on the decks at home or

tagteam/MC battle set so make sure to not miss this one.

There was talk of Hybrid in August, too. I guess I should go check the Balance site. Hybrid would be money (especially since I missed them at Buzz in December).

I'm hoping they still have fortier and hybried booked. I remember running into the guys running Kleen@buzz for the Pappa and Saeed/Palaash night. They were going to book Pappa (he's only about a grand to book btw) but he wasnt available on thursday nights.
