dragongrrrl
So I'm going to turn in my two weeks notice tomorrow at my office-bitch job so I can start a new job. I've never quit a job before, and i'm quite terrified. I have no idea what to say. Anybody have any advice? meg

therunner
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can;and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful worldas it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things rightif I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with HimForever in the next.Put that in an envelope and walk out. malanee
Every time I've quit a job I was moving on to something better - so I think the people understood. I guess I would be prepared to answer questions, remain neutral and don't take anything personal. Be honest, but don't burn any bridges. My resignation letters have always been more of a paperwork formality, so I don't have much advice there.GL!
