Rapper Mystikal has been charged with the rape of a woman at his home in Louisiana. The woman, his hair stylist, alleges that the assault happened after Mystikal confronted her and claimed she had been cashing unauthorised cheques. The rapper is then alleged to have demanded sex from the woman, before calling over Leland Ellis and Vercy Carter. The men allegedly told the woman they would report her over the cheques unless she had sex with them.The incident is alleged to have happened at Mystikal's home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 3, according to reports on bbc.co.uk. The alleged assaults were then filmed on video camera. Police have now revealed that videotape showing the alleged assault has been taken from a safe in the rapper's home. A spokesperson for Baton Rouge Police Department said that the tape, which has been placed into evidence, allegedly shows Mystikal - real name Michael Tyler - and the two other men threatening the hair stylist and forcing her to have sex with them. Mystikal's lawyers have told the media that the rapper is innocent of charges of rape and extortion, after he was arrested. If convicted of rape, he would face a mandatory life sentence.
