I can't stress enough that we have stuck to our guns on the ideals behind this party. If you have a specific problem with the party, bring it up in pm's or in person at the party. It's one thing to throw out some feedback, even if it is not necessarily positive. It's another thing to take cheap shots at some people who are doing something FOR YOU!! I came on late... Bog & Ron came up with this idea, and I have to say it is a GREAT fuckin idea. Mixing bedroom dj's with other up-n-comers is something that should have been done a long time ago. and for the record.. the party is not 100% CP supported, nor should it be. You guys have definitely been the STRONGEST supporters, don't get me wrong, but do not think that others have not NOTICED this party and have not attended it. First hand, I can tell you some very old-skool djs in NY have recognized this party for what it is and they appreciate what we are doing. And we truly appreciate the fact that you all come out week after week.As for our special guests.. they are a TREAT!! Please do not view their presence as an invasion on the party. We don't ask a cover and the dj's all play for free! What more could you want, seriously? George Calle has a track that's been remixed by Deep Dish.. and he played to all you guys for nothin last week.. hopefully you can appreciate something like that, b/c he was extremely happy to play for you. Perhaps early, we said "from time to time" in regards to special guests... that was with the assumption it would be more difficult to have these guests down.. but b/c they have expressed interest in playing, we are more than happy to offer them a slot.If our flyer is going to get over-analyzed and quoted to find mistakes, I suggest finding another way to spend your time. Nothing in life is etched in stone.. remember that. I really don't think we have strayed too far from what was marked out at the get-go.
