Michael Myers

(611 records, local 13, www.michaelmyers.com)

Philadelphia - Progressive house/Trance

As a member of the legendary East Coast production company Local 13, and as the dj credited with founding Philadelphia's trance music scene, Michael Myers has always been one of the most dedicated pioneers of the Eastern Seabord's dance music community.

Citing influences such as Frank Zenker, Dave Clark, Commander Tom, and Jon the Dentist, Myers flawlessly blends the flavors of progressive house and trance. When describing his musical style Myers says: "I play whatever moves me... it's energetic, 4-to-the-floor, club-oriented dance music, with the occasional break beat or electro breakdown. I like to take a record that is basically a journey within itself and fuse it with other records to take the listener on a trip."

In March 1998 Myers launched his now legendary club weekly, Faith Fridays, at Evolution. He maintains one of only 2 residencies at the club, regularly playing along side the likes of Richie Hawtin, Dave Clark, Mike Dearborn, Max Graham, Scott Henry, Joey Beltram, Sandra Collins, and Dave Ralph. His other residencies include Philadelphia's Motion Night Club and Club Buttons in Syracuse New York. Aside from his residencies Michael Myers has played events in cities all over the world including: Korea, Panama City, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York City, Washington D.C., Nashville, LA, Phoenix, and Pittsburg...

With many Traxx productions to his credits and CD compilations such as "Harder than House vol 1" and his new CD compilation "Reformed" coming the end of August 2002, there is no stopping this explosive force.Exodus' ability to move a crowd into a frenzy has gained him peak time slots at events across the North America (including repeat performances in Canada, and Mexico).

Double Vision

(Boss and Jon Loiacono) - Mixology/MixLAB/ShadowLAB

San Antonio/Dallas, TX - Trance Tag Set

This duo, made up of two of Texas' most dedicated djs/promoters/scene innovaters; Boss and Jon Loiacono, combines years of experience behind the decks with a true love of uplifting , energetic trance to produce a feeling of pure bliss on the dancefloor.

DJ Boss got his start in San Francisco's house club scene playing at City Nights and Sound Factory. He then moved to Texas and started Mixology, who's relentless events have breathed new life into San Antonio's once stangnant rave scene. He still stayed true to his club roots by securing a residency at Space in downtown San Antonio, playing alongside some of the nation's best djs. He also mixes live nightly from 8pm to 3am on San Antonio's 97.7 RPM radio.

Dallas' Jon Loiacono's passion for electronic music dates all the way back to his first time on the decks in 1993. Jon's diversity can be heard in all of his sets that range from the hardest of hard to the storming uplifting melodies. If there is Energy found in the beats he will play them. His love for the rave scene and the connection between the dj and the dancefloor lead him to start ShadowLAB, which throws all night events in Austin, TX.

KeeQue

(Mixology)

San Antonio, TX - Tech-house

One of Texas' fastest rising stars, Dj KeeQue got his start in the clubs, parties, and radio stations of Kingsville, TX. Since then he has moved on to San Antonio and has begun to dominate the club scene, rave scene, and airwaves there and in other cities around Texas, playing alongside djs like: Richie Hawtin, AK1200, Icey, George Acosta, and John Kelley.
